Released in 2008 for $28, retired in 2017.Josefina’s Fiesta Dress Item# F8467 $24 (price increase from $28 to $32 January, 2012) When it’s time for a fiesta, or party, Josefina chooses this special outfit: * A dress made of vibrant fabric with a ruffled collar, a raised empire waist, puffed sleeves, and ribbon accents * White cotton stockings and a pair of black shoesThis dress is very pretty on Josefina and other medium skinned dolls. It is light cotton with adorable burgundy and gold flowers and burgundy trim. The socks are the thinnest of nylon and very small and hard to put on. The shoes are cute with their small black bows and small bit of heel, but they are also very small. I could NOT get them on Josefina with those thin nylon socks on. She can only get the shoes on if she's not wearing any socks. Complete Fiesta Dress set Close-up of the detailing on the bodice and collar Back of dress pretty, but tiny shoes Josefina looks great in it though! Overall grade is still an A. I'm so glad Josefina has something new to wear.

FYI- The shoes fit on my chubby older Josefina's feet over Addy's black meet socks. My Josefina is also wearing her pantalettes under the dress and the ruffles around her ankles balance the white ruffled collar rather well. I'm still not sure how to rate this dress, it is so very different then either her native or colonial Mexican garb. But I really wanted to get it because it's NEW!

Love this dress. Gor.Geous. The colors are really lovely too - they really hit some of my personal favorites here.
The collar on mine is popped up- hopefully ironing will take care of that but it looks like it'll be fun to iron. ~_~
The shoes from her current outfit and the shoes from her PM Christmas dress - Basically the same, though her new ones are stiffer. I actually found them easier to get on her for that reason. So they fit fine on my Mattel Josefina's feet, which I'm pleased about since they're seriously adorable.
The one problem with mine is that the back doesn't line up quite right - I can't get both the red ribbon and the neckline to align properly at the same time. But looking at AGR's pics, it looks as though it's a flaw with mine, not with all of them.
The fabric seems slightly thin- I noticed when I had her backlighted that it was a little see through but that shouldn't be a problem generally since it's black fabric. Other than that, lots of details, seems very sturdy. The shoes seem a little higher quality than the ones from the Christmas outfit but it could just be the age on mine.

This outfit is very sweet, but it could do without the insect-like brételles. I was able to get the socks and shoes on my PM Josefina, but I did so with some trouble. The photo I have is from a member request to see the dress with the Christmas pantalettes. Grade: B

I tried this on Josefina for the first time today. I like the dress and think all the extra touches - bows, trim and matching burgundy sleeve accents, inset upper bodice withdouble ruffled collar, black bow - make this a special dress. The socks were very hard to get on my 2002 version and struggled to get shoes on over the socks. After 10 minutes, I gave up. Where is a dolly shoehorn when you need one? I ended up with no socks. I will try it on tomorrow with her pantlettes.
Overall grade is a A, the shoes and socks fit issues are my only downgrades.

The Fiesta dress kind of came out of nowhere for me and still has me scratching my head going "huh?" It is certainly accurate in the collar, and the shoulder bits, er epaulets, also. For reference: But I just have no idea what this dress has to do with this character. If you do get it, the ruffled pantaletts help make sense of the truncated length a bit.

This is the first AG outfit I purchased along with Addy's Sunday Best. I really like this dress even though some of my family consider it ugly. The combination of the print and shoulder details are unique and remind me of a matador uniform. I have no problems with putting on the socks and shoes, they fit perfectly and slip on easily. A.

Here are some pictures of my Lydia wearing the dress - she uses it more than Josefina these days as I think it as a bit more of an English/European look.

This dress is quite pretty and I actually love the shoulder details and accuracy. The fabric print is lovely. it really makes a great fall dress for Josefina.
