This is the set you get when you have your doll's ears pierced. For $14, you get the ear piercing service, piercing care sheet, 3 pairs of studs, and 3 pairs of dangles. I think it's a deal, particularly because there are 12 potential combinations, if you wear the same in both ears. I think that means there are 144 possible combinations if you wear different ones in each year, but it's been a long time since I did permutation in math class!
I personally didn't care much for the heart studs. I also though the hoops were a little big- plus, the way the dolls ears go, the hoops look a bit like they're sideways. However, these are both personal preferences and you may feel differently.
The only real drawback to these earrings is where to store them. When you get them, the dangles are attached to the card w/ a thin plastic strand. I'm keeping mine in a teeny ziploc baggie now, but these are definitely something that can be easily lost.
I got this set with my new doll, #14, and it's all really cute and nice. My only complaint is that the studs are really hard to get in and out of her ears! And then I'm afraid of snapping them when I take them out. Does it get easier over time?

I got this set with my doll and I love it!
To answer your question green chile supergirl (above): I store the earrings in the bottom of the box under the cardboard you put the studs in. plus I made a whole bunch of dangles with my beads which I store there, too. A+

These earrings are awfully cute. This is a good introductory earring set. I love the hoops because I'm a big hoop earring fan. I like to put the star studs with the the hoops and then the star dangles hanging from the hoops.
