I purchased the revised #13 from AG in November 2008. She is just like the retired one, only she has thinner bangs - even thinner than some pictures show. Her hair was very static, especially her bangs. I almost sent her back because of that, but ultimately decided not to. Other than this, she is a very cute doll. Her face is rounder than the retired #13, and her hair seems a little silkier, but not by much. Her hair is not quite as thick, but there seems to be just as much of it (it's just that the layered parts aren't as thick). Overall grade: B+ (because of the static hair) This girl's name is Bella and she stays at my house for my youngest niece to play with.

Although I looked at MyAG-13 numerous times over the years, I didn’t purchase one until 2009. Looking back, I’m glad I waited. The revised bangs give the doll an updated look. Additionally, they are one more feature that distinguishes her from Samantha and some of my older AGoT/JLY/MyAG dolls.
As for the wig as a whole, it’s thinner and silkier than the original version. However, in general, I wouldn’t classify it as thin. Also, unlike the original wig, the hair is slightly layered. Although some hair styles don’t look quite as neat, it’s still fun to play with and style. I haven’t found that her wig is anymore staticy than most, especially the ones with straight hair and/or layers.
Overall, I have to say that I’m more pleased with the doll than I anticipated. She looks nice in almost everything and therefore, makes a great review and/or sewing model. I would recommend her without hesitation.

I do think this doll is overlooked a lot, but she's honestly one of the cutest JLYs I own. She looks great in anything, especially pinks and purples. Her wig is silky, and smooth. Her hair is great for hairstyling. It is slightly layered, but not much.
A+.
