The first version of Rebecca's Meet Accessories were available with her launch in May 2009, and they were retired and replaced with the second version with the BeForever revamp in August 2014.
Rebecca needs these accessories to stay warm on her walk to school in New York City: A black velveteen hat with a floral ribbon A Russian shawl to wrap around her shoulders A rabbit pin that is very dear to Rebecca—it was a gift from her grandmother
The meet accessories are a little sparse for $24. You get a hat, a shawl/scarf, and a pin. If the pin (and actually the scarf) didn't show up in "Meet Rebecca" as prominently I'd have skipped the set altogether.
I actually really love the hat on Rebecca.
The scarf pattern is printed, not woven, so it only appears on one side of the fabric. The other side is white.
I'm disappointed in the pin because it isn't actually a pin. It's more of a clip. I was hoping to pin it to all of Rebecca's outfits but with the clip the way it is it really only works with Rebecca's meet outfit.

I love the hat. The brooch is ok. I can't wait to read about it in the books. But the scarf is very stiff. I feel like I should run it through the dryer with fabric softener.

I agree that the accessories are a bit sparse for the price. However, I really like the hat and it seems to be high quality. I also like that the broach is a clip instead of a pin because it won't leave holes in the clothing. The shawl is my least favorite piece since the pattern is only printed and it is only on one side.
I think the hat and the broach make the set worth buying. Especially since the broach has an important part in Rebecca's stories. I do wish they would have included some type of purse and money, but I guess it would have been too similar to Samantha's. I would give the set an A-.

I just got this set today and am very pleased with it. The hat feels to be made from the same material as the now retired Velveteen Coat and it is very nicely made and the ribbon trim is pretty. It fits looks adorable on Kaya and fits her very nicely with her hair shells off. The shawl as other have said, is printed and very stiff, but the pattern is nice and unlike some shawls (Kirsten's school shawl spring instantly to mind) it is a good size. Felicity is currently wearing it with her summer dress and the cap from her Town Fair outfit and the gold in the shawl seems to be a good match for the ribbon. The brooch is plastic, very small and is a clip not a pin, but the pattern is very detailed and it looks like the real thing. I'm glad it isn't a pin since those put holes in the dresses, but the clip seems a bit hard to use as well. I am really glad they made this because not only is it beautiful, it was very important in the story as well. I give the set an A because it is a very nice set, maybe a bit sparse but so is Kaya's.

I like this, but felt as though they could've included more, like her crocheting bag and the pennies for Rebecca and Ana.

I like her meet accessories, but for the price you pay, I feel like they're not really that worth it, considering the amount of stuff you get with the other historical dolls. ^_^;
The shawl, had it been not printed material, would have been a lot nicer - it's starchy feeling, and doesn't hang naturally the way a real shawl would.
I like the brooch being a clip instead of a pin, since I wouldn't want it to leave holes in the clothing.
The hat feels pretty high quality, though I don't think I can get it to look quite right on my Rebecca.
Overall: B- Hat: A+ Brooch: A Shawl: B-

Rebecca's meet accessories, except the brooch, aren't anything special. I was really disappointed in the shawl. I do like it's tasty-looking mustard color, but like others, I was disappointed that it is only printed on one side. I have Josefina's heirloom shawl and was really expecting Rebecca's to be of the same quality. I really like her little brooch. It features the hare from "Clever Karina," a story that Rebecca acts out with her Uncle Max. I like that it's not a pin, but it falls off so easily. I lost it twice while getting Rebecca dress and felt like an idiot scouring the floor for it. I'm not going to let her wear this if I take her anywhere; I wouldn't want it to get lost. Oh dear, Rebecca's hat. I think the ribbon is really pretty, but I can't stand the hat. I'm nervous about keeping her curls looking nice, so I was afraid to really mash the hat down on her head. As a result, Rebecca looks rather foolish. I was happy to discover that a friend is interested in the hat, so I can let it go without feeling guilty. Hurrah! The accessories would have been more complete with a coin. After all, the whole first story is about Rebecca earning coins with her crochet work. Grade: BETA: Rebecca doll with Meet Accessories on display at AGP NY.

I got Rebecca's accessories today and love them. The hat is wonderful as is the pin. The shawl needs improvement. It's still and cheap feeling - at least it looks good.

I love the hat in her accessories, but I am greatly disturbed by the quality of the pin and the scarf. Very stiff and cheap looking.

I agree with everyone who said that this set is sparse, but I still like it. The hat in all of its velvety goodness is adorable-->ribbon and all! It fits nicely on Rebecca as it frames her face. My Gotz doll, Isabel, was greatly disturbed by the fact that her head was essentially too big for the hat, but that's her problem, not Beckie's. The shawl is pretty cute and looks better in person than in pictures. The brooch, which would be better as an actual pin, is a nice touch with the way it connects to Rebecca's Meet story and all. I've clipped it on to Rebecca's meet dress where it has thus stayed since. Grade: B+

I wasn't sold on this set at first, since it only includes three items. But once I saw it in person at AGP, I was convinced. The hat is absolutely beautiful, the brooch is cute and stays on very well, and the colors of the shawl compliment Rebecca's meet dress very well. My only complaint is that the shawl is white on the inside, but if it's positioned in just the right way you can't tell at all. This set really completes her look! Grade: A-

Somehow My mother got sent Rebecca's shawl in an Ebay purchase. Although, happy to receive a free gift, We were both really saddened by the lowered quality of American Girl. The shawl is so thin and stiff.

I like the hat and the pin, but the scarf is awful! The hat looks really nice with Rebecca's winter coat.

What color is the fringe on the shawl? It looks like it is gray in the photos. Also, I'm wondering if the shawl is a triangle? How big is it?

This set is nice, but I don't think a set that includes only a hat, a shawl, and a pin is really worth what you pay for it. I love the rabbit pin. It looks great with her meet outfit. I think it accents the outfit perfectly. The shawl is beautiful. I love the vibrant colors and the pattern, but I agree with the other reviewers- it would have been nice if it had been printed on both sides and wasn't quite so stiff. The hat is high quality, but I don't really care for the way it fits. I hate messing up her beautiful curls, so I'm a little reluctant to push it down on her head, and therefore, when I put it on her it looks like a sort of fancy, girly, velveteen top hat. Overall Grade: B+

I love her hat. The shawl is stiff as everyone else has said and my pin broke immediately when I tried to put it on. In my opinion the hat is the only reason to buy this set.
