I got this outfit for my son's bitty twin. It is so adorable! There is a pair of green shorts, sleeveless white shirt with a screenprinted palm tree on it, a button-down shirt with tropical pattern, sun visor and blue sandals. Oh, and the book, but my son doesn't really have any interest in that since he's 2.5. All the pieces are really well-made and look adorable. The button-down shirt actually buttons, and the buttons are very small, but I would say this shirt won't be buttoned much, since it's supposed to be more of an open shirt to show the shirt underneath. The sandals stay on pretty well, but my son keeps knocking them off with play. I think they will mostly live on the the dresser to keep them from getting lost, but who doesn't go barefoot on the beach? Especially little boys. Anyway, a great outfit - A from me. I'll try to post photos later on.

Fun-in-the-Sun Short Set (2007-2009)
While this outfit has hints of potential, the set is a fail in its entirety. I can’t decide whether Bitty has taken up shuffleboard or is pretending to be a tourist who’s looking to be mugged on a tropical getaway.
However, for the right price, it’s nice to have coordinating outfits for the Bitty Twins. Also, a few pieces are great for mixing-and-matching. The set includes: twill shorts, a tank-top with palm trees, a blue over-shirt with flowers and more palm trees, a visor, a coloring book, and blue sandals.
Shirt with flowers and palms: I’m always appreciative when AG releases outfits for the Bitty Twin boys. However, the print they chose is probably not the best selection for coordinating boy-girl sets. The boy’s shirt seems a bit flamboyant and old man like. I am impressed that the shirt fastens with real buttons. Then again, they’re nearly impossible for target age group children to do on their own.
Tank-top: While the tank-top is probably not something my own preschooler would wear, it does have some mix-and-match potential. Though I haven’t tried it yet, it may especially look nice with the jeans from the Plaid and Denim outfit. The tank fits both the 18” and Bitty dolls quite nicely. In fact, it probably fits the larger dolls a bit better since they have less cloth body flab.
Twill Shorts: While green probably isn’t the most versatile color for a pair of shorts, they are well made. I particularly like the button detail and faux pocket. The shorts also fit nicely on both the 18” and Bitty dolls.
Visor: The visor is basically a headband with a visor flap. While I don’t have a picture, it’s a fairly tight fit on Bitty Baby and twin heads. It fits a bit better on the 18” doll heads. Since visors aren’t particularly trendy with the preschool crowd, I doubt this piece will see much playtime. I think a baseball cap or bucket hat could have been a better option.
Sandals: The bright blue sandals are surprisingly nice. For a slip-on sandal, they stay on relatively well. Bitty can turn summersaults without them falling off. However, they’re probably not the best for outings. I also appreciate that they have a hard sole, unlike some of the current offerings.
The Bitty Twins Beach Fun coloring book: The coloring books are never a huge hit here. I doubt that it’ll ever be used.
