Basics Wrap Sleeper (2007-2009)

This piece fell short of my expectations.
If I didn’t know better, I would’ve never guessed that this outfit was designed for Bitty Baby. While I like the concept, it’s poorly designed and very large. Poor Bitty needs to do some growing before she can wear this piece. In the picture below, Bitty Baby is even wearing an additional onesie to add more bulk. I wish the sleeper was cut more like the sleepers that have come with Bitty over the years.
The wrap sleeper has two Velcro closures that meet below each of the arms. At least one more piece of Velcro is needed, particularly near the neckline, to prevent the sleeper from unwrapping and to keep the top of the sleeper from sagging.
One positive aspect of this piece is that the bright pink material is soft and fairly thick. Also, the sleeper is quite easy for younger children to get on their dolls, especially with the Velcro instead of snap closures.
