First Impression: The knit is amazing  For Bitty: This set is great quality, the knit is so soft and perfect. The blue detail around the cuffs of the sleeves and edge of cap really adds a nice touch. Comes with matching bonnet for bear and toy car. Grade: A 
For Big Girls: NA
IN Conclusion: This outfit took me awhile to find, but it was worth the wait.

Here is Iris in the Travel Adventure Set: img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/ShilohAS/American%20Girl%20Dolls/IMG_5728.jpgI was so excited to buy this outfit mint in box for the original purchase price of $22 last week. The set was completely new and untouched in the box and came with the bonnet, sweater, Bitty Bear's bonnet, a little book and an adorable toy car. Sorry, I did not get a picture of the book and car. This is an outfit I've wanted since I was 10 years old so was excited to get it at such a good price! It is very sweet. As Tink said, the knit is beautiful. I love the detail of the scalloped edging and appreciate the blue instead of pink or purple. It fits great. Bitty Bear's bonnet is especially cute. It looks like Tink's set is made with slightly softer yarn than mine, mine is made with thin but very strong yarn- it seems to be the same (except thinner) as the 100% cotton yarn I use to make pot holders! It isn't rough or anything though. The sweater closes with a pearly little button and I'm slightly concerned it will fall off, but so far so good. The bonnet closes with a little piece of velcro but Bitty Bear's closes with the tiniest snap ever. I definitely suggest getting this set if you can because it's so sweet. |
