Rating: A-. Here is a picture of the dress, hat, shoes bitty bear's cape, and the (unassembled) tree. The fabric on this dress includes a red velvet bodice and the skirt is more like taffeta (??) or a shiny knit. It's not as smooth as satin. The shoes are a patent red. Rosettes on ribbon at the bodice and hat. It's a very nice set. I don't particularly care for the roses, but then I shun such fussiness in my own kid's clothes as well.

First Impression: Nice material For Bitty: A very traditional holiday / picture outfit. It may not be my personal taste, but it is very nice. The material and quality is nice. The hat does not fit well at all. The color of the patent 'leather' is very nice, but the soles are a bit thick. The stacking Christmas tree is a cute baby toy. Grade: A - For Big Girls: Length is still good! A great holiday option. Hat is still iffy. Grade: A- IN Conclusion: A good, sisters holiday dresses option

This was the first outfit my daughter ever got for her Bitty Baby doll, and it remains a sentimental favorite. It is an example par excellence of high Bitty clothing quality and is great fun to pull out every year. The accompanying stacking Christmas tree that AG reused with this set is fabulous and my kids still like to take it apart even though they are far past the age for such things! Grade A. Shown below with reversible cape and matching bag, sold separately.

An adorable set. the stacking Christmas tree is too sweet. The thought that went into the toy portions of these sets was just wonderful.
