Item # G0469 Grade A- Meet Tennille- yes, as in Captain & Tennille. (Showing my age here) Anyway, the description says she has hazel eyes but these are actually darker than my JLY 21. The green and brown flecks seem to be a bit more pronounced in this doll than the hazel I have seen in others. The color combo of hair/eyes/skin tone are very pretty in person and I am glad I picked this girl. However, she will be going off for an eye swap to have dark blue. She could have benefitted from a few well placed freckles so I may end up doing that myself. Again I have to say I am peeved by the downward head tilt on the new dolls. They always appear to be looking down rather than straight on. Her hair feels as if it has more weight and substance to it than the Rebecca I had earlier this year. I haven't tried to put it in pony tails or anything like that yet but from what I can see the wig cap seems to be covered very well so styling shouldn't be an issue. I also used to have a JLY 26 and from what I remember these curls may be a bit tighter than JLY 26. The spirals look scrunched to me. My only complaint with her hair is that the ends already look like they are split from too much brushing/styling/touching. My OCD is kicking in and I want to snip them off! Tennille says, "Hi AGPT!"

I see what you mean about those eyes - they are *gorgeous*. I'm a little sad you're swapping them out, but I bet she'll be beautiful with dark blue as well. But those are definitely darker than my hazel-eyed girl.
As far as I can tell, that's still #26's wig. Mine came with extremely tight spiral curls - in fact, I got a little confused looking at reviews for her after I got mine because all the others seem to have nice loose sausage curls, while mine has corkscrew. I got a little OCD about the haircut as well, but I only cut it such that it's even all the way around. Those longer bits in front were so weird to me.
Tennille is a stunning doll - thank you so much for sharing photos of her!

I just LOVE this girl! I just received her Monday. Her hair is shorter than I thought it would be, but beautiful non-the-less. It goes just below or at the neck in the back, and comes down longer in the front. Her eyes ARE a little more green than I was expecting. She has such a cute look about her. This is the most exotic looking doll in my collection! #44 (still do not have a name) Having a fun ride! I really like that she has a classic (at least I think it is classic) face mold. I do not think I would like her, or have picked her if it were otherwise. Thanks for letting me share!

This doll is such a cutie! So much spunk in her. I find her hair pretty easy to work with, just spritz and retwist. But a younger collector might have trouble keeping it nice. Since there is no comparison pictures yet, here's one of Jess and my #44, Jocelyn. Her skin is only a shade darker then the light skin, with maybe an olive undertone? And because this girl is just too cute. www.flickr.com/photos/clemenfox/sets/72157623969053790/

This is by far one of my favorite dolls that I own. The only downside is that I am petrified of playing with her, as her hair is so beautiful and delicate. With that aside, the hazel eyes with the medium skin is a striking combination. The back of her wig to show her curls. They are so gorgeous and tight!Brielle and Lanie comparison shot. Both gorgeous. Brielle's curls are a LOT tighter and bouncier.Overall Grade: A- because of the easy-to-mess-up wig, which makes playability and hairstyles difficult.

Here is my 44. I got her in a LOT off of eBay. I decided to clean her up and send her to a friend who, like me, has wanted an American Girl doll since she was a girl, but never had one. I just recently started collecting and LOVE it, so I wanted to share the fun with her. For now my 44 is named LeiLanie and she is Hawaiian. I plan to send her to my friend with various Hawaiian snacks and decor. I made this dress from a shirt sleeve and remnant curtain fabric. I am pretty pleased with how it turned out (as long as I don't look too close at the stitching.

This is Quinn. I got her from the Benefit Sale in 2014 so her hair isn't exactly perfect, but it's nice looking, just not as tight. She is a really cute doll in general!

I was able to see a number of my friend's TM dolls so I thought I'd review them. This doll is so cute. I think she even works well as a historical. I would put her in Addy's world.
