Holiday Sweater Set I (PwP 2009)

I was at AG Dallas when they were putting these out, so I went ahead and picked one up...

I really like this set; it came with the sweater, mittens, and matching headband for $16, and the sweater is pretty thick (my dolls are gonna have to turn the AC up real high to wear it, it hasn't exactly been very chilly here yet).
Mittens have embroidery on them that match the pattern on the sweater.

You just beat me to it! I was at AGP today picking up 11 hairbrushes, a Bitty Baby, and an 18" doll for the Elmcor Girls Holiday Project. Of course, I couldn't pass up getting the PWP for myself and a few friends.

I like the sweater and shoes with a pair of jeans better, though:

A garter, maybe. Then you'd be styling. That's all it's missing, really.

I strongly dislike this with the denim skirt, but for the life of me I cannot find my other white bubble skirt, so here you are *shakes fist angrily*.








But anyway, this set is adorable! The back is made with the old thick style velcro, but oh well.

At MOA they had it displayed with the white bubble skirt and the "fancy skates" with gold laces. It almost convinced me to get the skates too lol.

My set arrived in the mail today from AGPC. Here it is on Chrissa in front of my girls' tree.



I think it's a really cute set. The sweater and mittens seem to be made really well and are really soft. However, the headband could use some work. It took forever to get it to lay flat on Chrissa's head. I also didn't like that you had to spend $50 to get it. IMO, $40 is a little better for a pwp.

This also looks nice with the pants from Molly's aviator outfit and Kit's work boots. I wish AG made more sweaters like this one, although it does have the harsher velcro.

I'm not a big fan of sweaters with "stuff" on them, but this set is quite nice. The sweater looks great with the leggings from Lanie's nature outfit and some boots.

I wish I had a sweater and mittens combo that was this warm! The material is so thick and plush it feels like a pillow. It is a gorgeous wine-colored red and looks fabulous on all of my dolls.
