Pepper is a beautiful husky puppy with piercing blue eyes! Unlike Coconut, Pepper is not sitting, but standing on 4 legs. She is hard like Coconut and her friends.
She comes only with a collar and nothing else. No pet journal like some previous pets.

Pepper™ Pet Set Item# G1116 $20 (price increase to $22 January, 2012)
This adorable husky puppy is an American Girl doll’s best friend! Pepper has a solid body, blue eyes, and gray-and-white fur that can be groomed. Plus, he comes with a collar and a name tag. Pepper is a hard plastic pet, just like his counterparts. He stands on all fours. He stands 7" tall from toes to ears and 6 1/2" from nose to tail. His collar is just a piece of ribbon with velcro on the ends unlike the other pets' buckle collars. The collar is also only 8" long and is extremely tight around his neck. You really have to squeeze down his fur to get it to fasten. Great pet though. Bigger than Honey. Grade A. Comparison Coconut, Pepper, Honey

If anyone has Pepper, the old AG Husky, and even Tatlo, I'd love to see comparison photos. Thanks! Tatlo / Pepper / GT Husky

My DD says that Pepper's piercing blue eyes can stare into your soul...
I was disappointed that his collar fastens with velcro and is such a tight fit however DD and I think this puppy is adorable (and we can always make him another collar that buckles...repurpose a small cat collar perhaps?). Gotta give him a resounding A.

I love this dog's piercing blue eyes, but I'm disappointed that he's too big to fit in the bed and carrier, as I "play" with him more than I do with Sugar, the other dog I have. AG should have a warning about that on the site and in the catalogs. For this reason, this dog gets a B+ instead of an A from me, but he's still one of my favorites of the AG dogs. I'm going to be getting the dog sled for him and the snow flurry outfit for my JLY #27 so that I can display them by the tree in the living room around Christmas.

I love Pepper! He is an adorable dog. My Pepper's eyes aren't as piercing in real life as they are in pictures. Here are a couple of my own pictures: I also like his size, but that's partly because I don't own any of the pet furniture, and therefore I can't be upset that he doesn't fit into it. Still too bad that he can't do everything that the other dogs can. Also, as the owner of Coconut and two cats (all sitting-down pets) I like that Pepper stands. His fur is soft and looks like pepper, hence the name. I think his tail is good for him but there might could have been a little more to it. Mine did not come with a collar. Overall an A for this lovely dog!

Pepper is absolutely adorable! I have always loved huskies, but as I am allergic to real ones, I have never been able to have one. His blue eyes are just gorgeous. I do wish he was a bit softer, though. My Lily (#37) can't cuddle with him very well. Also, he's the first MyAG pet that I've gotten directly from AG, so he's the first one I've gotten with an AG collar. I do like it, but it's a little tight and keeps coming undone, so I'm always having to re-fasten it. Oh well...it just gives me one other thing to obsess over. LOL! Grade: A With McKenna, who helped me pick him out at the store: And with his new owner, Lily:

My friend got me Pepper today as an early christmas present. He did not come with a collar, but in stend a book about how to stop being bored (the title escapes me) but Pepper is overall very good. He's hard but fluffy and his eyes are not creepy in person, just very cute! I also like the way he is standing as how can you walk a dog that is sitting down? Overall, worth a discount price (my friend got him cheaper so I don't feel bad accepting him )
