Jacket & Cap Bold AG logos on the front and back of this purple varsity jacket tell the world that she's proud to be an American Girl. Comes with matching cap. $20 The original Jacket & Cap set is amazing! The jacket looks and feels like a real varsity jacket. The outside feels like wool. There are five snaps down the front and a patch with the American Girl name. The pockets are real. On the back the AG logo is embroidered on. The inside is lined with satin and quilted! I loved it so much when I got it that I wanted to get the girl sized version for myself. *makes mental note to check Ebay* The cap is also made of wool. There is an AG logo patch sewn on the front. In the back there is an adjustable strap. The details on both items are beautifully done. I highly recommend this set. I love this set as well. It has everything that made PC a quality company. It seems very realistic. The embroidery is nice and has stayed that way with age. The hat has an adjustable back, so it fits secure and there is no worry about elastic rotting. A+

I got this jacket and cap along with my #19 Julianna for Christmas 1995, when I was 10. Sailor Molly already wrote a great review so I'll just agree with her and say it's a wonderful jacket and very high quality. One of the things I really appreciate about it is that the sleeves are roomy and silky inside so it's quite easy to get the jacket on over shirts and sweaters. Here's my Callie wearing the set:
