A+++ I finally got the Felicity that I have always wanted...a pre-Mattel, German made beauty. She came yesterday, new in her original box, still attached, purchased from her original owner. She is stunning. Her skin coloring is very soft and creamy, almost a peaches and cream complexion, but not as pale as my German Molly. Her eyes are a lovely shade of green, clear and bright (but not neon green like the newer Mattel green eyes). Her hair is a beautiful shade of coppery red, and is still in her original ponytail. She has a plumper body than the newer dolls, and soft squishy vinyl limbs. She is an absolutely beautiful doll, and I can't wait to get to know her!

I positively love my Pleasant Company Felicity! I got her off of Ebay for $50 about a year ago and she was well worth every penny. Her hair color is gorgeous and I think her eyes are far prettier than the Mattel version. But I'm partial to PM dolls in general. Her adorable pin curls are very delicate and I curl them around a pencil then hold them in place with a small bobby pin overnight to keep them neat. The Rose Garden Gown is nice and works well with her Cardinal Cloak. I like it much better than the lavender one. Overall a very beautiful, photogenic doll A+

A+ What can I say? I absolutely love Felicity! For me, she's the one that started it all. This particular Felicity is the oldest one I have, and she has to be from '93' to '95, as I received her many years ago as a gift from my babysitter who had had her when she was a child. She's in her late twenties now, so that leads me to assume that the doll is at least from the mid '90's. As far as reviewing goes, she's lovely. her green eyes and red hair are what I adore the most about her. She's got a fat body, and and soft auburn eyelashes. Her skin isn't super squishy, but it's also not super firm, it's just right. There isn't much to add that others haven't said. her meet clothes are beautiful, and high quality. She's overall an elegant doll. A PM Felicity is a real joy. No collection is complete without this colonial beauty!

My Felicity arrived today from an eBay seller. Her body does not have a tag and the back of her neck says Pleasant Company. Her legs and arms are squeezier than my other newer dolls. She is just beautiful!

A+ I purchased a TLC Pleasant Company Felicity with artist mark and no body tag that I restrung and attached a detached arm. Her hair was all matted so I gave her a downy dunk. Her hair is still dry and has a large bald spot in the back where her wig cap is visible; however it's under the top layer of hair so it's not really visible unless you look for it. If I pull her hair back in her ponytail, no one would know it's there. Her hair is the prettiest copper color. I was surprised at how beautiful she is. She is my favorite doll now. Her green eyes are a softer green than the Mattel Felicity's. Her face is so soft and she has the prettiest brownish red eyelashes! I love her copper colored hair. I purchased a 1993 Pleasant Company rose garden meet dress and shift, meet socks and shoes for her. I really like how well made her meet dress is and love the design also. I wish I knew what year my Felicity was from it's thought to be mid 1990s.

Felicity is a breathtakingly beautiful doll. The prettiest doll PC created IMO. I have a first release 1991 PC West German made one. She came in a West German tagged shift and gown and a dolls Made in West Germany hangtag. She has lovely muted periodot eyes and coppery red hair with three adorable pincurls on each side. She has a wider face and stunning coloring. Her eyelashes are quite long and a lovely reddish brown. Her vinyl is the soft and pliable of the earliest dolls and she has a nice plump body. She is definitely my favorite doll. A+++++

My PM Felicity just arrived today. She arrived in her complete Rose Garden meet outfit, but of course I took her out of it right away. The dress and shift are both tagged "made in China for Pleasant Company", which leads me to believe that Felicity was also made in China. She is in displayed only condition. Her limbs are tight, but the legs are a little wobbly, since she is stuffed so much more softly than both my White Bodied Samantha and my Mattel Rebecca and Kanani. She has coppery red hair, quite different from the Mattel Felicity that I once owned. Her eyes are definitely green, but not the laser green of Mattel dolls. She is still figuring out her style, since she's probably going to be a modern girl instead of a historical girl. Although she might go back and forth: I haven't decided yet.

My cousin got this Felicity in the mid-1990s when she was 6-8ish. Her Felicity is nearly identical to mine with the same neck stamp. She has the copper red hair perhaps a tiny bit darker than my 1992 Felicity's and grass green eyes. She also has the same peach body. The box and hang tags are long gone so I can only search my memory and hers as to when she got Felicity. It took a long time but I finally restored Felicity's hair to its former glory. Copper hair Neck stamp Twins! (my 1992 Felicity in original Meet outfit, other Felicity in craft fair meet outfit) Mine is from 1992. My cousin's is I'm guessing from 1994. There are some subtle differences. 1992 ribbon wig light peach body more black flecks in her eyes darker brows circa 1994 Felicity no ribbon on wig darker peach body less black flecks in eye/lighter grass green? lighter brows slightly wider face Both copper red hair dark red eyelashes BIG generously stuffed bodies Aren't they sweet together? Mine is in her nightshift and Claire is in the homemade nightshift from Susanna's friends at Fair Hollow School.

Here is my darling late-PM Felicity. I received her as a gift from my great-grandmother either shortly after Christmas of 1998 or right after New Year's of 1999. Her vinyl is creamy and soft, she's got a very fat, squishy body that I could hug all day long, and very subtle face-coloring. I absolutely love her. A closer look at her hair. It is a fine, coppery-auburn color. In certain lighting, it looks very red, but much more muted than early PC Felicitys. I am missing her ivory hair ribbon but I am getting a replacement soon. A close-up of her eyelashes. Like all PM girls, hers are soft and a dark red color. I apologize for the blurriness; that was as in-focus as I could get it on my iPhone. A close-up of her neck stamp. A shot of her nude to show that she has no body tag, another characteristic of many PC dolls. A close-up of her dear face, just because. Her curled tendrils are a little out of control and have seen some better days. Felicity's stockings are a nice thick cream-colored wool. They have held up extremely well over the years and are of good quality. They are so historically accurate that it makes my heart squeal with delight. A shot to further demonstrate how they fit on her legs in relation to the rest of her body. They come to just below her knees. Felicity's black buckled single-lasted shoes. They are of a pleather-like material and are good quality. I adore the buckles; these shoes are also quite historically accurate as well. A shot of the back of her shoes. As you can see, the back of her left shoe was used as a chew toy when my dog was a puppy many years ago. I love that Felicity came wearing a shift. It is a very versatile, well-made piece. Thankfully, the elastic on mine is still pretty snug. A close-up of the detail at the end of the sleeves. So cute. I absolutely love Felicity's "meet" Rose Garden Dress. It is one of my favorite "meet" outfits, along with Molly's, Kirsten's, Josefina's, and Kit's. The fact that her dress comes all the way down to her toes is historically accurate and awesome. The colors used are neutral, earthy tones that are rarely seen in American Girl's outfits nowadays. The pattern is detailed without being too busy. A close-up of the sleeve design and the ruffles at the end. Great attention to detail and also historically accurate. A shot of the ruffles at the collar. It leaves her neck nice and open without revealing the shift--you can just see it peeking out a little bit. Overall, PM Felicity is a great, beautiful doll. I would recommend her over the Mattel versions. She has held up well after all of these years, and her limbs are still very tight and she can still stand well on her own. I'm glad to have her a part of my collection. Doll: A+ Outfit: A+

Three PM Felicitys. All are pleasingly plump, soft and squishy. Felicity 1 on the left is my original Felicity. She was a gift in April 1992 and I believe she's first edition. Felicity 2 in the middle belonged to my little cousin who is 10 years younger. I believe she's from 1993 or 1994. The earliest two Felicitys (1991-1992 and ca. 1993-1994)have ever so slight differences. The wig cap is different underneath and the neck strings are slightly different. Felicity 3 is a secondhand waif. We have determined she is probably from 1997ish/late 90s. Her hair is slightly darker than the other two and her eyes show more white. The first two have copper red hair while the later one has slightly darker hair. It's only noticeable when they're together. Comparing Felicity 2 and Felicity 3 neckstrings More close-ups of Felicity #3, Faith

I just realized I never posted my darling Felicity. My girl is a 1991 West German beauty and her hair is a gorgeous coppery color and she has peridot green eyes. She has soft coloring with a peaches and cream complexion. I think she's the prettiest doll PC made. z2 by Laura *, on Flickr z1 by Laura *, on Flickr
