Released in 1993, combined with Rope Bed in 2011, and replaced by Bed & Bedding II in 2015. Addy’s colorful quilt is like a family album made out of fabric! Inspired by an authentic quilt from the 1800’s, each of the nine squares depicts the faces, places, and everyday treasures dear to the quilt-maker’s heart.Addy’s Family Album Quilt Item# ADAQ Price $20 This is such a great addition to Addy's collection. It is approximately 17 inches long by 17 1/2 inches wide (including the ruffles) The background color is an unbleached muslin color and the red and green are so bright! The quilt top is not hand stitched nor appliqued as it looks. It's just a print of a quilt top machine quilted to a black checkered (or is that navy?) backing. It is hand wash only. It is well made, but because it is factory processed, not 'heirloom' quality that I thought it would be. Still Addy likes her quilt and I give it a Grade B+ Addy and her Family Album Quilt

I could have sworn I reviewed this already. Guess not. I love Addy's quilt! I especially like that is is a small section of a real quilt made by a former slave. (See History Class - For More Information about Addy's time). It makes the quilt even more special. I think the stitching around the "appliqué" gives it a more authentic look. The little ruffle is sweet and the backing fabric gives it a sort of reversible look. Grade: A

AGR, that is a beautiful picture of Addy and her quilt! I didn't see a picture of the entire quilt so I'll add mine.

I got this with my Addy as a pre-graduation gift from my parents that I got to open on my birthday in Dec. I love the size of this quilt and is thick and beautiful, even if the top is appliqued. I hadn't really noticed the green on the border before I got it. Two dolls can snuggle up under it. My Addy is so happy to have her quilt. I give this an A! Addy snuggles under her quilt for a good night's sleep.

I have to agree that Addy's quilt IS lovely. I love how meaningful it is to her, and it really does seem like such a treasure to have. I don't even like her bed nearly as much as I like the quilt.
Grade: A+

I'm not too sure of this one. This was always my favorite quilt of all the historical dolls, and when I finally ordered it on sale, I was a bit disappointed. I guess I expected the appliques to be real (hah), and the print on the top layer of fabric seems very stiff. Almost rubbery?
I've had this packed away for a year or so, and when I got it out to give to DD for her birthday, I liked it a little better than when I first got it, but I'm still not thrilled with it. I think I want it to be softer.
I don't have any bedding for any of the other dolls, so I can't compare, but I'd give this quilt a C or so.

the print on the top layer of fabric seems very stiff. Almost rubbery? It sounds like another PM vs. Mattel quality issue. I've never noticed anything like that on my Addy's quilt which is a first release from 1993.

A++++++++++++++++
I am in LOVE with this quilt. I think it is such great quality and is so meaningful to Addy. Even though the top is appliqued it is still great! What more can I say! I LOVE IT!!

I have to echo what Natasha said about the papery feel. I bought mine from a board member to complete Addy's bed. Mattel version. I like to design, and always wanted it, but I thought it would feel softer like an actual quilt. Grade: B (for Mattel version)

I finally saw this in person. I really thought that it was applique, but it is merely a piece of printed fabric. Personally, I find Kirsten's to be nicer.
