This is my first review on here, so hopefully I'll share enough information to help other buyers out there.
The outfit comes with the following:
This nautical set has everything the twins need for a sailing adventure:
* A red tank top with square neckline and gathered sleeve, and an embroidered anchor on the front
* A navy-and-white striped skirt with a contrasting tie at front
* T-strap sandals with contrast binding and embroidered with anchors
* A sailor-style hat with embroidered eyelets and contrast lining to shade her doll’s eyes from the sun
* Includes The Bitty Twins Set Sail coloring book
When I first saw this outfit online, I wasn't 100% sure about the girl set, but after I fell in love with the boy's outfit, I decided to go ahead and purchase the girl's outfit as well. It turns out that the outfit is MUCH cuter in person than I expected it to be!
Here's Erin donning the outfit for you:
I love the design and colors much more in person than I did looking at it online. I think the shoes and hat are phenomenal. The shoes velcro on the sides and have a soft, yet sturdy feel to them. They stay on without any problems.
My only complaint would be that the little tie in the front of the skirt makes the shirt puff out or poke up a bit, as the picture shows.
Overall though, I would give this outfit an A. It was easy to put on (though I am an adult, I still feel it would be easy for a child to put on) and has a great look. Just for comparison as well, the twins look adorable when they are both sporting their little sailor ware. Here are Ian and Erin both dressed in their outfits:
