I really recommend this set! It has lots of pieces and play value. You can actually use the cookie cutter and rolling pin (I once made ~300 Shrewsbury cakes cut with the cookie cutter) and the apron is not only cute, but useful for keeping flour off the doll's clothes if your DD and her doll want to help out when you are baking cookies or something. The sprinkle jar has tiny glitter pieces inside, but the lid is glued on. The vanilla bottle is open-able and she could put water in it for pretend vanilla if she wants. The flour bag is a little small but about the size of a small real flour bag in porportion to the dolls. ~Tara

I have this set, and I think it's cute, well made, and includes a lot of fun pieces. I give it an A.
Oh, and it looks really cute when worn with the previous Coconut Play Outfit, the one with the magenta shirt and greenish khaki pants (refer to this forum's JLY Guide, year 2006).

I like this set a lot, though I tend to like the food and cooking sets (even though I can't cook for real). I like how the doll apron is attached by velcro, so little kids won't have a problem with having to tie it on and the pot holder and mitt fits the doll's hands very well. My other favorites are the mixing bowl/pourer and the little wooden spoon! The flour sack is real paper, so that wouldn't stand up to rough play and not wise to get it wet....all other pieces are durable though. I give it a rating of A.
