Released in 2000, retired in 2010.
Kit’s night table keeps everything she needs for bedtime close at hand. It has wooden legs with metal claw feet, plus two drawers with decorative brass-finished pulls.
Kit’s Night Table $29 QDF
A+
Beautiful~ What can I say? This piece is just terrific. It is so pretty and well made. It is so detailed. I love the little brass claw feet and the drawer pulls. The two little drawers slide in and out with ease. The drawers are large enough to hold Kit's book and more. The finish on mine appears to be golden oak. It is not nearly as dark brown as it looks in the pictures on the AG website. It stand about 7 1/4" tall. The top is about 5 1/2" x 4". The table looks terrific next to Kit's bed. A+ all the way.

Keri- I am sorry it has taken me so long to get to this. The typewriter fits nicely on the night table.

Do be careful when moving this around or taking it out of boxes (or packing it in!). When I was unpacking mine, I was impatient and somewhat careless and tugged too hard trying to free it from the styrofoam packing and one of the claw feet got caught and snapped straight through the thin wood. I'm sure I could reattach it with a bit of glue, and the lack of foot doesn't affect the balance or anything, but it is irritating.
So do be careful with this! It's a really cute little piece, and I use it as an extra little stand next to my rolltop desk and it works just as well there as next to the bed.

I purchased this because of the retirement prediction list, and I am very glad that I did - as it is now retired. I love everything about this little nightstand. The drawers work - great for storing things. I did end up having to get a replacement nightstand, because I had my typewriter sitting on it, with nothing under, and it ate the varnish right off. This had nothing to do with the quality of the nightstand - only the quality of the typewriter. Overall, I give the nightstand an A+! D~

Very detailed, but sometimes a little wobbly. As you can see in the image, it can fit Addy's birdcage and the phone on the top part. The drawers don't fit very much though.

Such a cute nightstand with the little brass feet and two drawers for storage. My great aunt had one like this. Kit's lamp and phone fit on top.
