During the Great Depression, resourceful families made clothes from colorful feed sacks. Kit’s sleeveless feed-sack dress has orange flowers and hints of purple and green. Includes knee socks and faux suede T-strap shoes. Add her hat with matching orange ribbon for a bit of shade as she sets out with her scooter. Includes trading cards.

This set includes Kit's dress, hat, socks, shoes and trading cards.

This outfit is adorable! I love everything about it. It is just terrific. It is so Summery looking.

The straw hat is really cute, and is a really nice fit for Kit. I have loved her in hats ever since I got her meet accessories. This hat is a lovely shade of yellow. It is not straw colored so much as an actual yellow. The wide, orange gross-grain ribbon ties the hat into the outfit quite well, considering there is no yellow in the outfit it's self.

The outfit is terrific! It is nice and girly without being so frilly that it does not fit Kit's personality. I love the orange bias trim on the two tiered skirt and collar.The bow on the collar is made of orange gross-grain ribbon.The belt is sewn to the outfit, and is a very cute addition to the outfit with it's off-center white plastic buckle. The collar on this outfit is a waffle textured cotton.

The orange color would not appear nearly so dominate in the fabric if it were not for all of the orange trim. The fabric seems to have more of a red/ red-orange color to the flowers. Also, while the background of this fabric may seem white, I see it as actually being a very light violet color.

The socks are a bright, crisp white color, but they are oh so soft and stretchy, almost like nylons.These are some of the cutest socks ever, but due to their stretchiness, you have to handle them carefully so as not to pick the fabric- a small price to pay for such lovely socks.

The shoes are very sweet. They are light yellow and come closest to matching the hat. I kind of wish the shoes were a more neutral color so they could be used with other things, even so, they are very sweet. The shoes do close with velcro, so be careful about those socks when you put the shoes on and take them off.

The trading cards are cute.

I give this outfit an A+ for perfection.

An up-close of the shoes in action, plus showing that they're velcro. We don't like velcro shoes here, because Beatrice has a wonky left foot which makes the velcro fit funny.

These are pseudo-leather rather than the canvas of Kit's swimsuit or meet sandals, and the punch-outs around the T-strap are absolutely darling. Just like the shoes I had as a kid in the 80s!


Also, yellow is Beatrice's favortie color, so she'll be wearing these quite a lot come summertime.

I have this outfit and I love it!! I can find no flaws, it fits almost perfectly on all of my dolls, except Kaya, but she's a little bit thin. I can't wait for Kit to arrive so she can put it on! A+ My girls wear the shoes with everything

Since there isn't a picture of the outfit, I thought I would include one. I have been wanting this outfit for awhile and I am very pleased with it. I love all of the little details in the dress and the shoes are very cute. Overall grade ~ A

This outfit is adorable and worth it if you can get the complete set. The socks are pretty and detailed along with the shoes. The cloth is thick and decent quality and the dress is well constructed.

I love this dress! I'm glad I finally got everything but the socks for a decent price on eBay. As mentioned, the shoes are especially cute and go with quite a few AG dresses, including modern ones. The pattern is really pretty, too. The colors are gorgeous and unique, and the ruffles on the skirt really give it some flair. The hat was slightly dented, but otherwise fine. It feels like straw and has a really nice, big grosgrain ribbon bow that matches the piping on the dress and the belt. It didn't really work on my #58 Whitney's curls, but would probably do fine with Kit or other dolls with straight hair.

Overall, not a bad choice if you can find it for a decent price for Kit, Ruthie, or other mid-20th-century dolls.

This dress is so cute with the double skirt ruffle and sweet orange print. It's a very unique dress in Kit's collection. The hat is simply adorable looking on her.
