This outfit was worn by Molly in the short story "Molly's Puppy Tale." A similar outfit is also seen in the movie Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front. It was introduced in 2003 and retired in 2005.Molly’s puppy, Bennett, romped through Mrs. Gilford’s Victory Garden, then jumped on Molly’s flowered dress with his muddy paws! Comes with pink satin hair ribbons. This dress has got to be my all time favorite Molly dress. I love everything-the pleats, the lace, the fabric, the sash..it's so detailed and looks fantastic on Molly. It comes with two pretty pink hair ribbons. A+!

This is one of my top favorites of all AG dresses. I bought it long before I even had a Molly. It looks really nice on many different dolls. It also looks like it would be fun to wear. If I was a little girl, I would want this dress with its swirly skirt. Wheeeeeee!!!!

This is certainly my favorite Molly outfit. The print and design are very cute per se- not to mention they look lovely on Molly. It is not overwhelming nor too dainty. The color combination is pretty on its own and looks pretty with Molly's coloring- I even put it on Samantha once and it looks good on her as well. The dress' form and sleeves are very flattering. And it stays in place and it is easy to put on. A+

I think this dress looks like it was made from a feedsack. I love the print and I like the way the bodice forms a V in front. The hair ribbons are really nice quality shiny and satin-like. They are very, very long though and are slippery so they don't stay tied. This is a great spring school dress for Molly. My Molly wears it as a birthday dress. Grade: A compared to Samantha's Special Day Dress

I adore this dress - it is soft, looks great on Molly! I give it an A - it only came with the dress and ribbons - no shoes.

This dress was a total surprise for me. I didn't expect that it would be so beautiful. The cotton cloth used is very soft, thick and close-woven. The print is very pretty with a small pink rosebud pattern over a sprigged leaf pattern in light green. The attention to detail is amazing too. The piping along the 6 gore skirt makes the skirt stand out. The use of the piping and lace at the neckline is very well done. It stands upright and does not bend over. The bib at the front would have been easy to leave off, but, it makes the dress so much more unique. Even the sashes for the bow in the back of the dress are carefully done. They are hemmed to make certain that they both tie well and are ample for a nice bow. I first bought this as a Grey Market item, gave that to my sister. (Very thin and stiff material) But, the REAL THING is just that... a Really beautiful dolls dress. A+
