The outfit is very cute, and the hat is the best part of it to me. I haven't gotten my boots yet. They are backordered.

After finally getting this outfit, I agree that it IS worth every penny! The blouse: The blouse's sleeves are actually really snug on PM Molly (think Lissie's traveling gown on a 1991 Lissie snug), but I don't even care. It does fit, thank goodness. My favorite part about the blouse is that fact that it snaps up instead of velcros. The skirt: This is very cute, although once again, snug on a PM Molly, especially after tucking in the blouse. I was expecting the belt to be removable, but it's okay that it's not, especially since I'm really looking forward to mixing and matching this skirt with other outfit pieces. The hat: This is the reason why I didn't want this outfit originally. I don't like how the hat just barely sits on Molly's head. I'd prefer Molly to wear the hat that goes with the AGT Horse Lovers outfit. I am getting used to that hat, now, but Molly won't be wearing it often. The canteen: A little disappointed in this. I wasn't expecting it to be plastic! It is cute just the same, though, and I'm glad the lid really does come off. I haven't gotten the boots yet, since they're on backorder, but I'll review them when they do arrive. However, the brown oxfords look GREAT with this outfit. Grade: B+ Molly with the hat: Molly without the hat:

Grade: A This outfit is very cute, and fits my 1991 Molly! I think the fact that the skirt is elastic really helps that. However, it's still slightly tight on her and I can see some pulling on the front just under the belt. The shirt and skirt are made of a nice light-weight denim material. However, the detailing on the shirt makes it a very thick item! It is embroidered with flowers, and edged with piping. The buttons really work. The skirt is elastic and the belt is only on the front half of the skirt. I am impressed with the detailing considering this would be more of a costume for Molly. The canteen is plastic with a rubber strap. I wish it was metal and leather, which I expect is more accurate for the time. But the nice thing about the rubber strap is that it's a bit grippy and makes it easier for the dolls to hold. The cap comes off and you could actually fill the canteen if you wanted to.

I have wanted this outfit for the longest time and wondered if after I got I would love it as much as I thought. It arrived yesterday and I adore it. I think the attention to detail on the shirt and boots is gorgeous and appropriate for the era. The hat feels wonderfil to the touch; very rich! There are no issues in getting either the clothing or the boots on. I had the boots well before the outfit and used them on my modern girls. Now I want another pair. I absolutely love this outfit and give it an A+++.

I sold the rest of this outfit but the boots... oh the boots... I think if I had to pick one favorite thing that AG has ever made it would be these boots. A+++
