I LOVE this set! Who woulda thunk that purple and green would look cute together! Purple being a medium lavender and green bring a medium mint greent. From the sherpa like cream colored cardigan with purple trim and purple/green checked pockets with cute embroidery to the cream/purple heather ruffle edge tee with awesome embroidery detail..Then on to the pull on purple pants with ruffle in the check print! Top it off with a matching pull on hat and cream loafers wtih embroidery and your bitty is ready to explore!! I purchased on sale, so even better!

A- After debating between several sets, I purchased this one for my daughter in the summer of 2009. Unfortunately, it has seen little play and I probably should have made a different decision. One of the things that drew me to this set is all the pieces. The set comes with knit pants, a tee shirt, cardigan, moccasins, hat, bitty hat, toy, and an I-spy type book. For the most part, the pants and tee are well made and versatile. I particularly like the flared pant legs. It’s also nice that the knit top and bottoms can be used as both pajamas and day clothes, especially without the cardigan. The pieces fit well on Bitty and are easy for little hands to get on and off. The only thing I don’t care for is the trim around the neckline. In my opinion, the fuzzy trim looks a little strange and the light green doesn’t coordinate with the other greens in the set. The fleece-like cardigan was probably the most disappointing part of this set. While I think it looks cute on, my daughter thinks it feels “yucky” (and I sort of agree). She’s all about texture. I don’t know if this makes any sense, but it’s the sort of fleece material that makes you want to put on hand lotion after touching it. It has a dry, fuzzy feel. The piece is now kept separate from the rest of the bitty clothes to avoid accidental tactile contact. The hat is by far my favorite part of the set. It looks like a hat that a real baby would wear and coordinates with so many other Bitty outfits. Here, it’s often paired with the lavender sleeper. The hat also fits Bitty’s head nicely and doesn’t usually fall off. Unfortunately, the moccasins are MIA at the moment. They have little bit of embroidery at the top. From what I remember, they fit well on the Bitty babies. However, I think they were a little difficult to get on. The toy is also neat, well-made, and provides a way for younger children to practice the buttoning/unbuttoning skill. It keeps my children occupied for a bit and it seems to be one of the memorable Bitty toys. The bear hat is also a great addition. Bitty bear clothes are always a hit here. The book is okay, but we’ve never been big fans of the Bitty books. However, it does get some playtime and is worth a read through. This set doesn’t fit well on the 18” dolls.

Such a cute outfit and Bitty Bear's hat is darling. The toy is super cute while teaching a skill. A
