When we were at AGP I offered to buy my girls jackets. My oldest picked the black zip hoodie with AGP on the back and a big star on the front, but my youngest had to have the same Travel jacket as Bitty. The material is exactly the same as Bitty's and it looks way cute on. As with all AG clothes for girls, they run big. My DD wears a 5/6 and I bought her the Medium. DD has the full Travel 2-in-1 set for girls.
The jumper is absolutely darling-- cuter on a real girl than on Bitty. We liked it so much we bought another one in a larger size. It can be tough to get on as it is a little snug getting it over the shoulders-- DD usually asks for help getting the jumper on and off. A small side zipper (under the arm hole) would have been a great addition. It washes well and doesn't need ironing, but it does fade if put through the dryer. We got the larger sized jumper on ebay and the previous owner had put it through the dryer-- it shows. Our smaller one never went in the dryer and has maintained the original look better.
Tee shirt. This is a well made, heavy weight knit shirt. I dry it on a low setting and have had no piling (DD has been wearing it for a year and a half-- it's been washed plenty). The embroidered bear applique has also held up well. Buttons at the back of the neck. Cotton plaid fabric binding at the neck (matches the ruffle and facing on the jumper and the pockets and hem binding on the jeans.
Jeans. These are well made jeans. Elastic in the back of the waist, flat front with fly. Little hands can find the snap and zipper of the fly hard to manage and that prevented DD from wearing the jeans for a long time. I wish the elastic had just a little more give to it.
Tights. The tights are a purpley-heather. They're very well made. Nice and thick and hold up well (I was them in cold on delicate and dry them on a light setting). DD has had them for a year and a half and they are still going strong. I wish I could find more tights this sturdy. DD loves the color.
Jacket. The jacket runs larger than the rest of the outfit. It is too big for DD. This is a little frustrating as she may have outgrown the jumper, shirt and pants by the time the jacket fits her.
Headband. The headband is the same plaid cotton as the trim on the jumper, shirt and pants. It has elastic in the underside of the headband so it fits well. It's easy to get into DD's hair and stays better than most headbands. I believe it was sold with the shirt.
Overall I give this an A- The jumper outfit is so incredibly cute-- it gets an A+. All the fabrics are good quality and it is well made and holds up to wear. The jumper really should have had a zipper and the odd sizing on the jacket reduces the grade on this one. It would reduce it more, but the cuteness factor saves it.
