DD is 7 and wears a size 6/7. She has the Bitty Baby Silver Bells dress in size 6 and it fits loose and nice. All 3 of these pieces are size Large. The shirt runs short. Other than that it is a nice soft material. In this photo she has the skirt pulled up more than usual so that her belly doesn't show. (This daughter does not have a long torso but she does like to wear her skirts under her belly.) We will not be keeping it. The shrug appears to choke the girl and the doll. Unfortunately when unfastened the fur falls behind the girl's neck and looks very sloppy. The sleeves don't fit as tightly as I expected them to, so that's great. DD does like this and will keep it. The fur is very soft. The skirt is ADORABLE. It will be a great mix and match piece for my daughter since purple is her favorite color. The material is very soft. The skirt is fully lined. It's her favorite piece of the entire Pretty Plum order.

I agree the shirt runs VERY short. We only got a couple of used out of before the laundry rendered it unwearable. It was super cute while it lasted, though, esp. with the shrug and matching tights, etc.

We have this outfit in Medium, with the matching tights (which are adorable). The combination of lavendar and plum is quite nice, and I don't even like purple. It is supposed to fit size 4-5. DD was 4.5 when I gave it to her for Christmas, but it is HUGE on her. The shrug arms are unusually long, and then the shirt is short, making it look really un-proportional. Here it is pictured on her, with the shrug arms rolled up and you can see that she is actually holding up the skirt - it is sagging. picasaweb.google.com/simplyparticular/Julia?authkey=Gv1sRgCPnO97eJobeRyQE#5586993991623672130I tried pinning the sleeves and the skirt, but it was uncomfortable and I was worried a pin would pop open. I've put it away for next fall in the hopes it will fit her better. I also put away the matching doll outfit, since it was just frustrating her that she couldn't wear hers, too. Luckily, we have a lot of matching Dollie & Me outfits, which tend to run more size-appropriate. My other comment is that it is very prone to static, especially the skirt lining.
