My Daughter Got These Last year with her Julie Lot and the matching doll set... We loved Them...But Yes They Do Pill in the laundry...Dried Or Not...They are a cotton material and there is simply no way around it...I hung dry in the beginning and then just gave up..Othe than that issue...They are pretty and my Daughter loved and wore them alot!

I bought these for my daughter when Julie first came out. She has worn these only a few times; however, they still pilled. I never completely dry anything in the dryer. They are very cute!

I just got them from someone here who bought the QVC lot. Maya loves them and I think the style is cute because I am retro LOL

I saw them at AGPC and wondered if the fabric hadn't been improved since the reviews. They aren't brushed cotton but are a nice weight knit cotton fabric which I'd hope would hold up a bit better. Has anyone gotten them recently and washed them? Do they still have issues with pilling?

There is slight pilling but not bad. Not like a fleece or anything. Really the pilling wouldn't deter me from buying them. My daughter likes them and they aren't falling apart so I'm happy.

Online says they are polyester. Tammy

Julie’s pajamas used to be amongst the sleepover and pajama day favorites here. The sizing seems to be fairly true-to-size (if not a little generous) and we’ve had no issues with the fit. However, I’ve heard from friends with older children that the pajama top isn’t really designed to accommodate girls with larger chests.
Our main issue with these pajamas has been pilling. After only a few washings, the pajamas looked fairly pilled and worn. Following several more trips through the wash, my six year-old, who is sensitive about the way clothing feels, would no longer wear them. However, it’s likely that some other children wouldn’t mind as much.
The slippers are nice, but tend to run a bit large. I actually ended-up with my own pair and they’re quite warm and comfortable. The strap in the back is also a nice feature. However, it needed to be taken in a bit in order to be functional.

My DD loves her pair. They are soft and fit well. We haven't had a big problem with the pilling, just alittle.

Mine were pilling after one wear. It is disapointing to spend so much on the pj's and have them look old after one wash. I like everything else about them.

Same here with the pilling (big TIME), and contrary to what others have said we thought they ran a bit small. We have an XS and it fits my almost 4 year old who wears 4/4t if only a little long in the arms and legs.
