Swing Coat for Dolls Item# G0244 $20 Bitty Baby can stay cozy in this sweet coat. The perfect accent to any fancy outfit, it has a swingy shape with a wide collar and two pom-pom “buttons.” There was a request for a review for this one, so Bre to the rescue. I like this little coat a lot. The cut and style are current, yet classic, and it looks like something a baby or young girl would actually wear. I got this on sale for $10, which I feel is fair. $20 for a BB coat and no accessories (because, make no mistake, this is just a coat) seemed steep for my tastes. The material is very soft and seems warm. It closes with the no-snag velcro, which is a plus, considering how soft the material is. Now, my problem with this coat is that although it's a bitty outfit, it fits better on a 18 inch doll. I tried the coat on a slimmer Mattel doll first and it was easy to get on and fit wonderfully. Then I tried it on a plumper PM doll, and although it was tighter on the arms and shoulders, it still fit rather well. Then I tried it on my BB. It was hard to get on her bent arms, and even harder to take off of her. It was more difficult to close it on my bitty too, but perhaps her outfit was bulkier than what the bigger girls wore. It could also be because my BB is a chubby very early one, but no matter. A for an 18 inch doll and on sale. B- at full price and for a Bitty.
