I don't see either of my today girls on here, so here's a review This is my GT 17 with Red hair and pretty blue eyes. Her name is Delaney and she's PM - her meet outfit was the red vinyl jumper. Her hair looks dark in the photo, but its much redder in real life. I think she looks best in blue clothes. I don't think this doll is very popular because I very rarely see pics of her on here or hostboard. #17 never really appealed to me until I saw her in an eBay auction and she had the sweetest face. This is dolldreamer's traveling doll with no name. She is a 1995 AGT 17 and she is very pretty. Her bangs are a little short and not layered like my early Sam and Kirsten. That drove me crazy, but other than that, she's very cute.

My Rebecca is a PM 1996 GT17. I really liked the way she looked in some of the catalog pictures and had to get her. However she came home with me the same day as GT14 did, and I tend to like GT14 more.
I love Rebecca's red hair and blue eyes, but her bangs are so thick (maybe its just my doll). Thus, some hair styles, don't look that great on her. Also she doesn't look great in every outfit. She loves the Red one-piece with the yellow hat, the seaside birthday outfits and the green wool-skirt school outfits.
Overall, I give this doll a B+. She's cute but I like some of the others better.

I got my 1995 GT#17 from a college aged friend who lives nearby. I like her soft, plump body and limbs. Her hair is quite thick and her bangs (as mentioned before) are VERY thick. Her lips have faded quite a bit and that makes her look undernourished. Maybe I should play with her more. ETA: a picture of Darcy before and after I gave her a bit of makeup Darcy McKenna

#17 is pretty much my mini-me, lacking only the freckles I had as a child. And glasses, but that was an easy fix I wasn't sure what to call her, she tried on 'little Val' for a while but it didn't seem to fit, even though she does love the books and dolls, and horses that I did when I was a child. I would have given her my middle name as others have done with their dolls, except, I don't have one. Just lately however, she has been saying she is Alexandra. Funnily enough that's the name I was very nearly given. Alexandra has a lovely skintone. Her hair is beautiful and silky, thick enough to play with. Definitely A+. I'm so happy with her I might even buy another... I always wanted to be twins LOL Edited to add: Alexandra arrived in Oct 07, with Taliesha (#1). Both were wearing the I Like Your Style outfit... except I didn't, and it has not been seen in our house since ;D

I bought my PM #17 from EBAY and she has amazing face coloring! As seen in my pictures, her hair is so lustrous and fun to style. She looks great in light blue (compliments her eyes) and also in Julie's birthday dress, which brings out the rusts and warm tones from her hair.
For an older, retired AG -- I give her a A+!
I think she said her name is Gabriella Paige.

I brought Athena just this last March from eBay. I wanted #17 after I saw her in the catalogs and I love ginger red hair and blue eyes. Athena is an unique member of my little family (well, they are all unique) but she's the only one I wanted to be a tomboy. I believe she's a transitional #1 since she is pretty close to a pre-mattel but with a body tag.
