Princess Emily's Traveling Ruthie Ann/Anya is a 1996 AGT 7. She has long, layered brown hair and light blue eyes. Her vinyl is kind of matte finish compared to the shiny newer dolls. She did develop silver eye in one eye, but is otherwise very sweet looking. Her hair is kind of hard to style because it is layered, but still "playable." I like the combination of light brown hair and blue eyes and I really prefer the look of the older PM dolls which, to me, look more child look and sweeter than the newer dolls. Grade: A This is my goddoll, Nellie ( nelliegirl). She started life as a 2002ish #7. She had a haircut, curl, steam, and some face paint removed. Her hair is soooo soft and silky! I love to stroke it. Her facial expression is cheerful and lively. She looks dramatically different from original 1996 GT7.

My AJ is an AG 7. I got her when they were first released from my Granny. She reminds me of Molly without the middle part. Her hair is all one length (all but the thick bangs). The way it is placed in the wig, you can see the rows of hair plugs. I also think her hair is a little on the thin side. It looks really cute in a single side ponytail, but because she really does not have a part, it makes it hard to have pigtails. It also French braids easily.
I love everything else about her. Especially her blue eyes.
I would give her a B because of her hair.

I have yet to come up with a name for my sweet #7. She is pre-Mattel. Her head is stamped Pleasant Company and her tag reads "Made in West Germany for Pleasant Company.' Even though her bangs seem to have been given a trim, and since there are missing hairplugs in it and I brushed them aside, she is without question the sweetest and most innocent-looking of my dolls. Her hair is also the softest of the ones I have too. MOAR PICS -- because I can:

A comparison pic of Kristina (left) and my #7 that has yet to get a name. Kristina seems to be a later doll, yet not quite the #7 that was revised. Some observations: Kristina's hair is a tad darker than my PM doll's and has a little more red in it. Also Kristina's eyes seem larger and a tad closer together. Kristina is not as chubby as my PM #7, but she's not as thin as my #23 or Nicki. Kristina was purchased as a fixer-upper from Ebay and as of right now is on her way to the AG doll hospital. Actually, not much needs fixing on her as her hair is perfect:

More pics of Kristina: She is chubby, but not as chubby as my PM doll and she's not as thin as Haley or Nicki.

Since 1998, two #7's have graced our house, Ashley the Greater (who was recently restored), and Ashley the Lesser (a replacement for our first doll). Ashley the Greater is PM from 1998. Her hair got VERY VERY dry over the years, but a Downy dunk helped slightly. Her leg was recently reattached and her lips touched up. Ashley the Greater is our chubbiest doll, with a huge and firmly stuffed torso and very broad shoulders! Ashley the Lesser is Mattel from 2002. Her eyes are much larger and darker than the PM girl, and her hair has remained shiny; it is also darker with shades of red rather than blond (the color is slightly off in this picture). They are both very sweet girls in their own way!

The second AG doll (my first was Kirsten) that I received was my #7, which I named Kaitlyn. She is basically my mini-me, except for the fact that she still has bangs and I started growing mine out in the 7th grade. She was bought around 1996/1997, so she is Pre-Mattel. She has a slightly chubbier body and less face-paint than my Mattel AG (Felicity), but on the plus side she has the soft eyelashes for which PM's are famous!

I recently got a PM #7, and she's awfully cute. I mostly just bought her because she was cute and a good price, but I really like her now that I have her. I like the hair/eye combo, and her PM-ness makes her extra cuddly. My particular doll's wig is just a tad on the dry side, but not at all bad. Her hair is a little darker than my PM Molly's. Her eyes are a clear light blue. I worried she and Molly might seem similar to me, but they don't at all. I give her an A-. This particular doll was probably a lot more unique when the AGOT line debuted than she is now. Mine is named Brittany Brookfeather Lowenthal.

My PM 1996 #7 is named Delilah December Moore. She's really cute, although she's had a haircut, is missing most of her face paint including teeth, and she's been in an accident involving a dog. But looking past that, her eyes are really strikingly blue. The bluest eyes I've ever seen on an AG. They're really quite gorgeous. Her hair is a little plain but it looks like it has flecks of red, but that's just a trick of the light, I guess. She's just a very pretty doll in general. Some have said that she looks sickly... well, depending on the doll, maybe. My Delilah does seem pale at times, and bad pictures can cause her to look ill. But that doesn't detract from her beauty, in my opinion.
A strong A for #7.

Hey, don't know how I didn't find this before!! My (Blakely) #7 is from the late 90's I think... the lady I bought her from said she was either a 97 or a 96 and had only taken her out of the box a couple of times- but she came to me in the urban outfit which leads me to believe she was bought in 2000. She is stamped PC and has an artists mark behind her ear. Her hair is crazy soft and silky!! It never gets tangles or frizzy, it has no kinks or crimpy ends, and is super shiny! Her skin has this wonderful pale smooth look. A++++ She is my favorite of my 3 dolls *you can see her in my sig pic too*

Wow I didn't know she was retired! I just got her head replaced and I think they sent me a whole new doll because she has an AG tag on her that she didn't have before! "Rikki" looks beautiful with her new head!
