I just want to add that the base is not made of plastic. It is wood. The top is solid plastic and the three flowers are fabric. I'm much happier with the price now that I've had time to handle it an really examine it.

Finally, after much hemming, hawing, and working my butt off to save for the darn thing, I got my shaved ice stand. I feel like it is well worth the money, and that, even at $115 it is an excellent deal . The stand in all it's glory View from the back. All of the accessories fit back here on the shelves. Another view of the shelves. Pineapple! I think it's a little weird to have a pineapple with this set, but I'm not going to argue about an extra, cute accessory. The paper products. I do have a gripe here... they were just shoved into the box with the other accessories, and the monk seal poster and the menu board were bent. The shaved ice machine. Flip open the top and... It looks like it's full of preshaved ice, or maybe soapy water? It's a nice detail, I guess, but I would have expected to see a block of ice or ice cubes. This ice has the same texture as the shaped ones for the cups. Five bottles o' sauce on the wall... The syrup caddy. The syrup in the syrup caddy. The infamous shaved ices themselves And with a dolly hand to show scale. Tray More paper products. I'm not even planning on taking the napkins out of the baggy... They seem like the same hideous ones from the fiesta set.

My daughter bought the shave ice stand with her birthday money and has been very happy with it. The accessories that come with it are great and she loves setting everything up. One downside that we can see, however, is that the roof part can topple over easily if bumped. The legs fit into the bottom of the stand and slide back out - I think if the legs extended down through the slot a little farther or if they "clicked" into place this issue would be solved. So far we've had no major disasters regarding the dolls, but it is kind of a nuisance.

We purchased this for my daughter's birthday when our family was at the Air and Water Show in Chicago on Saturday. Both my daughters think this set is pretty cool and have played with it a lot since then. All the accessories are pretty neat and I like the fact that they are separate. The menus are a cute idea. She liked the fact that everything is separate and not molded together. The foam in the Ice Shaving machine made my daughter laugh as well. On the downside I wish there were other 'flavors' for the shaved ice other than just the ones included. The ones included are neat, but I know my daughter would like to have ones that specifically correspond to the menu options. The legs do click into place. I was a bit hesitant at first. My daughter and I were afraid that if we weren't careful that we might accidentally break one of the polls. If you apply equal pressure to both legs, it will 'snap' into place

Just got this tonight finally!
It took quite a bit more force than I expected for the top to click into place.
I kind of wish the monk seal poster wasn't a giant sticker.
I actually like the color, if it was sitting on a beach, it wouldn't be as startling.
That's all I have to add to what everyone else already said. Love this! A+
