This outfit is so very precious. The romper is lightweight and fits pretty snugly. Donna is my thinnest doll and it took a bit of tugging to get it up over her tush. I'm not sure if I would be able to get it on one of my PM's at all. I'm not crazy about the hat, but there isn't much to say about it. It's a nice deep red, and it's also pretty thin but it's cute. Adorable little buttons: The stripes are a nice cornflower blue color. The lighting in my room isn't the greatest, but it's a nice flattering calm kind of blue. Shoes: They're very cute and they fit well. They were a little tricky for me to get on because the white straps like to go under the doll's foot, but otherwise no complaints. They're white on the inside, too, so no staining yay! It comes with a very simple, stupid-looking red charm which is a flat square bead with "SMART" written on each side. Uh, lame much? But whatever. I don't know if this is worth its $28 tag exactly, but it's a great-looking outfit and I love the colors. Great detail but still simple and clean looking. I think it's going to look great without the hat and paired with black or blue shoes, too. Grade A from me.

Sea Breeze Outfit for Dolls + Charm Item# T6603 Perfect for a day at the beach! This refreshing outfit includes:
A striped romper with button details, front pockets, and turned-up cuffs A floppy red hat to shade her eyes in the sunshine Matching espadrille sandals with bows at the toes Includes a “Smart” rectangle charm for the doll’s charm-keeper necklace
You can see from the photo how cute Molly would have looked in it if only it was not too small. It is also too small for Kit however does fit Molly's and Kit's Best Friends, Ruthie and Emily.
Pluses are that it has pockets for the girls to put sunglasses or shells in while at the beach. The overall design is unique and detailed. I like the v-shaped dropped waist with the slightly gathered bottom part. The shoes are cute and the color and fabric are a perfect match for the hat. The side elastic on the shoes keep them nice and snug on doll's feet.
Negatives are that it is too skimpy for my PMs. The romper's straps slip on instead of buttoning. I can envision that after a while, because of the snug fit and the narrowness of the straps, that the straps could easily tear from the outfit. No matter what doll I put the outfit on, the left leg pulled up a bit. For $28 there should be either sunglasses or a tote bag to complete the outfit. I think the price should be $24. To me any of the charms are a negative : - )
Overall I give the outfit a B

This outfit is adorable! It fits perfect on my Kanani and looks great on her. I got it at the AGPNY. I haven't taken it off since I put it on Kanani. The hat is cute, but simple. The shoes are adorable and fit perfectly. They are easy to get on too. I love the little buttons on the romper.

I was losing my light here and couldn't get one with the hat on.

The romper is pretty snug fitting on newer dolls so I don't think it will fit on chubbier dolls. That being said it is an adorable outfit and well made. The hat is precious and could go with a variety of outfits. My #2 Angelica has laid claim to the outfit in my house.

I love the vintage look this outfit has. It's very simple and pretty cute. What I like the most is the fact that the jumper has real pockets. The shoes are incredibly cute BUT when I took a doll from my room to the terrace for pictures, one of them fell out and I didn't notice it was lost until later. It's an A+ for the look... but my advice is to avoid taking the doll out to the street wearing the shoes, kids can easily lose them.

I love this outfit! There is not one complaint I have about it. The romper fits on all my dolls except for my PM Kirsten. The hat is cute but it seems to fit a little too big. The shoes are my favorite part. They are white in the inside to prevent staining. They can be a little tricky to get on but once you get them on they don't fall off.

I LOVE THIS SET - PERIOD ! The Seersucker Blue-striped jumper is Fab! The red hat and cute summer shoes... what's not to love? This set reminds me of when I was a kid in 1964 on Cape Cod!
I had to haaaave this for my Molly, it is so her.
She looks great in it. I have a Mattel Molly... Perfect Fit. Everything is an AAA+++

I got this outfit from the Cyber Monday sale in 2011. I love the classic look of the romper. It's very 30's-esque to me. Timeless in a way. Although it does not fit perfectly. It is snug on Petra who is PM. I like the hat, it's simple, but I'm not that much of a fan. The shoes are cute and fit well.

This is one of my favorite My American Girl outfits. I'm so glad I got it, right before it retired. The romper is adorable. The material is sturdy. The buttons make the perfect touch. I like how the pockets are real, and not sewn together. The hat is thin, but still cute. It's a bright red color, and fits nicely on my dolls. The shoes are to die for; I also have a pair of shoes like these I bought in the summer. The only bad thing about them is that they won't stay on the doll's fee sometimes. A+. EDIT 2020: Some PicturesUm, wow. It's been a while, but this outfit still rocks. Especially looks good with the MAG blue sunglasses that were available around the same time.

This outfit looks absolutely precious looking. I'm rethinking these I would now love to have for my 1980s girl and this one is making the cut.
