A: This is one of my favorite AGOT outfits. It is truly a unique “activity outfit” and is a nice diversion from the dance, gymnastics and sports outfits. The outfit comes with shorts, long-sleeved shirt, vest, belt, pouch that attaches to belt, socks with a GS logo and brown loafers. This outfit not only contains a lot of pieces, but it’s also very durable. After almost 12 years, my sets still looks like new. Although, the “patches” on the vest aren't actual patches, the appliqués have stayed on and look like new. I enjoy looking at the little patches. The shorts fit nicely and are large enough for chubbier dolls. The top is quite versatile and also looks nice with jeans/overalls etc. The shoes are very similar to Molly’s roller skating shoes, but are faux suede and a little more structured. I would strongly recommend this set. I know there are some non-AG sets out there, but this one appears to be superior to some of the others. It especially looks nice on AGOT#10 and AGOT#19-2 Heather Sue in the GS outfit. Socks not pictured.

I got mine on eBay a while back, and unfortunately it didn't come with shoes and socks. But what is there is great. Fits great on PM dolls, and isn't too big on Mattel dolls either. Wendy (PM AGOT 12) is wearing this at the moment with the shoes and socks from the Plaid skirt and sweater outfit.

I love the GS outfit, it matched the one I had in 1994, haha. My dolls don't wear it much anymore, but it got quite a lot of use in the 90s. I love the shoes that came with mine-- mine had the fuzzy loafers (like were in the catalog pictures of the time), not the smooth ones that are pictured above (and which my sister and our two friends also got... for some reason, I'm the only one who got the fuzzy ones). I'll try to post a picture at some point.

If you're a former girl scout, like me, you can tell it's for Juniors. But if your doll is "younger" or "older" it isn't very accurate.

I got this outfit in February of 2010, from a grey market Singapore seller on eBay. My outfit seems to be identical to the ones others have featured - same patches, same details, except mine did not come with shoes. It did come with plain white socks - I don't know if authentic versions had little green flags on the sides or not. I love the outfit - I was surprised that AG had used decals on the vest, but they're sturdily applied even on my knockoff and they have nice detail. As a former Scout, I heartily approve this outfit. I do want to add something for new buyers though: The shirt on mine is tagged "Pleasant Company," even though I know I bought it on the grey market. The seller admitted that she buys her stuff from a factory that is still producing these retired outfits. I think the quality is very good (the stitching is a little crude, but serviceable), and I am more than satisfied, BUT if authenticity is important to you, be VERY careful about who you buy from on eBay.

My stepsister was in Girl Scouts, and this was one of the first outfits she got for her modern doll. I got it when she gave me her dolls and their outfits. I like it. I was never in Girl Scouts and can't vouch for the authenticity, but the shorts, shoes, and shirt are all great mix-and-match pieces. The vest still has all the little patches. The socks are the only things missing. Otherwise, the outfit is in great shape.

Girl Scout Uniform GSOG $22 Dress your American Girl Scout for a troop meeting in her official uniform: shirt, culotte, and matching vest emblazoned with proficiency badges. Add a belt-purse, white socks, and comfy brown suede loafers. Then teach her The Girl Scout Promise: “On my honor….” Adding a photo of the socks that came with my outfit: The little emblem is a heart shaped iron-on that says "Junior Girl Scouts" I bought the miniature pin and the Charm bracelet from the GS site and they are perfect for our GS uniform: Our Mia is wearing the bracelet as a perfect sized necklace and the mini pin as the pin on her vest. ETA: more research on the badges, patches and insignia of this GS vest. Real GS patches that are represented on the GS vest. Top Row: Earth Connections - Healthy Relationships - Being My Best - Safety First Middle Row:Ready for Tomorrow - Creative Solutions - Globe Trotting - Girl Scouting in the USA Bottom Row:World Neighbors - Aerospace - Do it Yourself - Rocks Rock Other patches on the vest: GS Insignia pins Girl Scouts USA counsel patch Troop Numbers Membership Star pins -2 (one with blue background for Daisy Scouts; one with green background for Brownie Scouts) Bridging patch (rainbow) Flying up patch (wings)

Recently got a look at this set and it is really cute. The patches are nice. My daughter now think her Julie should be in the GS and I agree it's great for her and even Courtney would look cute.
