Flower Garden Outfit $24 GEOF Grade: B This is a cute little outfit and is pretty simple in its design. It isn't anything to really drool over and doesn't have much in the way of any spectacular details. It is a high-waisted floral dress. Made of polyester. I just felt the set lacked in the fine details and accessories. The details are found more in the purse and the hat. The small purse is a fully lined little two handled bag with ribbon woven adornment. All of the colours are what you would find in the dress. The hat is what I find the most lovely of the outfit. It is an organza that is embroidered with a vine design. It fits really well and is just adorable. I did try it on jess and it just really didn't suit her at all. I don't know if it is Emmy with bangs that makes it work but it's really cute on her. The shoes are a simple strap open toes sandal. They are cream and are made with patent leather. Nothing too great and wonderful about them.

I liked the design and pattern of this dress since I saw it. And I am very happy that I finally got it after so many attempts. The dress itself is fantastic. It can work for a girl or woman of any age. It also does not seem dated. Sandals are cute, although I probably would have put a slightly thicker sole on them. They are also very versatile. Handbag is cute, though I would have put a strap that would allow it to be slung on the shoulder. Hat...eh, well, it seemed odd to me at first, but somehow it is working for this dress. Hat seems more suited for a younger age- I think it would have been better for a Bitty Twin than for a JLY doll. Also, it seems strictly decorative- as compared to the hat for the Periwinkle Dress being more useful since it serves as a sunhat. Grade- A+ for the dress itself, A for the sandals and handbag, C for the hat because after all it is not ugly nor discordant.

I agree that the dress is basic and simple; all the POP is saved up for the incredible little ribboned purse and sweet hat. And honestly, I think that is unfortunate. AG marketed an ivory short-sleeved button-up sweater with the girl's version of this dress, and for the life of me I don't know why they didn't add one to this doll-sized version. It would have added a great deal, in my opinion. As it is the whole outfit rates a B from me because really, the dress is boring by itself, and the print is arguably a bit much. Without the accessories, it's one to pass over. However, I very much appreciate that it fits the chubbiest of PM dolls.

One of my favourites, the Flower Garden outfit, while not totally amazing is the perfect spring dress for any doll. The dress is a long cut, silky flowered material that fits well all dolls. An added bonus is that the velcro is no-snag. The bag is indredibly detailed with a cross woven ribbon design. It fits easily over your doll's hand and doesn't fall off. One of the best things is that it is an actual purse that can hold small things; I put a rolled up AG ribbon in mine. The hat is wonderful with vine stiched details. It fits their heads really well and can be positioned in a variety of ways. To top it all off, or in reality bottom it off, the shoes are of incredible quality and versatility. A nice cream vinyl, they secure with snaps and stay on no matter what.
Grade: A+
