Grade: A + Includes: Windbreaker, shirt, shorts, wool socks, hiking boots. The Good: This outfit is GREAT. First, it's authentic. My dad was big on hiking so we went hiking a LOT as a kid. The shirt, shorts, shoes, and wool socks are all something I'm familiar with. The hiking boots are extremely detailed and accurate. Everything has great details, like the nylon belt for the shorts, and the classic REI pattern of the shirt. The colors are fun but not too "girly." The windbreaker is a great finishing touch, though when hiking for real you'd probably have something a little warmer than that. The Bad: Ok, unless you're an REI fan, chances are you're not in love with the pattern on the shirt. I'll admit, it is a little busy. Also, because the windbreaker doesn't zip all the way, it can be a pain to pull on and off. Belt and shirt detail (binoculars are a separate accessory)

I just bought this outfit off Ebay for Lanie... well most of it anyway. I'm missing the socks and one boot so I can't comment on those. This outfit is great for Lanie. Very outdoor appropriate. There's lots of mix and match possibilities with other outfits. The windbreaker is easy to get on and off, even with Lanie's curls. The shirt is very... BRIGHT... but I love it. It's just my style. The shorts are really cute. They even have real pockets on the sides. Lanie hiking outfit 1 by Elizabeth, on Flickr

I adore this set. I love how every piece is good for mix-and-match, the bright bold colors, and how it isn't particularly girly! There is absolutely nothing currently available for a doll who wants to be a tomboy. D:

This is one outfit that has really stood the test of time! Every piece of it is cute, the shirt, the shorts, the windbreaker, and the boots. The pieces are well made, and look great on almost every doll. The colors are still bright after years of play. A+ for the hiking outfit!

The windbreaker from this set is one of my very favorite AG pieces ever! Here's MG wearing the shirt and windbreaker from this set paired with the shorts from the Outdoor Play Outfit and Molly's Dude Ranch Boots: ~mod edit to remove dead image link~

Came home from work today to a fun surprise on my doorstep... I wasn't planning on buying any new AG fits so early into my triumphant return in collecting, but the AGoT Hiking Outfit is one that I've had my eye on, and after seeing a complete version on eBay for a great price I just couldn't pass it up. Here's my #32, Moira, modeling it! First off, the windbreaker is incredible. I mean, look at that giant pocket? The colors are so much fun too, definitely one of my new favorite outfit pieces. Here's a pic of the shirt with the shorts. The pattern is so bright, but I think it could mix well with any other basic. The belt on the shorts is so realistic. AG just doesn't make them like that anymore. Here's a bonus pic of one of the shorts pockets. This outfit just continues to impress me. Here's a closeup of the boots and the socks poking out on top. The detailing is *chefs kiss*. Here's one more pic of Moira just because she's cute. I absolutely ADORE Pleasant Company outfits and can certainly see myself buying more once I finish downsizing. Grade A+
