B: My knowledge of ice-skating is down there with my knowledge of nuclear physics, so I cannot report on how realistic the outfit is. However, in my opinion it’s a cute set. The outfit comes with a skate costume, and barrette. The skate costume is made of a spandex fabric with silver sparkles. The fabric doesn’t snag easily and closes with a snap closure. The one negative aspect of this costume is that it’s a little tight through the arms. The costume has also doubled as a swimsuit in a pinch. While the barrette coordinates nicely, it isn’t large enough to hold a ponytail, like in the AG picture. I had to replace the barrette after the clasp broke. The tights are not included in this set.

I bought this off of ebay in a steal of an auction, so I was really pleasantly surprised when it arrived. I expected it to be pretty thin and cheap - boy was I shocked! The material is much heavier than I would have thought, and the tiny sequins are perfectly to scale with AGs. Here is my Jess modeling the outfit: As you can see, unfortunately it does not come with tights, which is bothersome for me. However, this is somewhat mitigated by how detailed the outfit is. In the next picture, you can see how the underside of the skirt and the attached bloomers are the same sparkly material as the bodice: The skates are a bit cheap-ish, but they're not actually included in this outfit, so I won't go into detail here. My outfit is missing the hairpiece, so I can't comment on that, either. All in all, I give this outfit a B+. It's really cute, and seems authentic, but I wish it had tights. It would certainly be great for Mia!

As a skater I really love this outfit. I love the color and it's easy to get on. The skates are easy to use to. I have to give the outfit a B+ though because it doesn't come with tights, but I still recommend it.

The set consists only of the outfit itself and the matching barrette, but the outfit is very high quality. It is a purple sparkly spandex, and surprisingly the glitter does not get all over the doll or my hands like I was afraid it would.
My neighbor has this set when we were younger, and we played with it all the time. It was one of my favorites. I recently tracked one down for my PM #8 Meg. It is very snug on her; you can see the snaps straining in the back. I don't remember a fit problem with my neighbor's, so maybe Meg is just chubbier than Felicity.
For the barrette, you have to put the ponytail in between the clip and the curved metal part. It reminds me of the shoelace loop barrettes I had as a little girl.
I do wish AG had sold this bundled with the accessories, and it doesn't make sense to have either by itself, but maybe they didn't want a high price tag on a single set.
