Star PJ’s Item #GTOX $22 "American Girl’s signature stars—plus soft pink stripes—cover these sweet PJ’s. Top and pants have pretty red piping, her slippers are fuzzy-wuzzy, a ponytail holder keeps her hair neat, and you get some fabulous sleepover tips!" I bought these used, so I don't have the sleep-over tips nor the ponytail holder. This Pjs are silky and soft. They don't seem to be as easily snag-able as the Coconut Pjs and other silky pjs that AG makes. The pale pink strip running through it is so faint that you don't notice it much and they look mainly just red and white. The top closes in the front with velcro (the buttons are just for show.) There is red piping along the tops' edges, the pocket and along the cuffs both on the top and on the pants. The pocket on the top says American Girl on it. The slippers are very fuzzy and thick. It's hard for a doll to stand up with them on. Star Pjs Top with American Girl Pocket Fuzzy Wuzzies Over all, the quality is great. The play value is wonderful...all dolls need jammies. The fact that they had girl sized ones too is always a plus. I'm happy to add these to my collection. Grade A.

The fabric is satiny correct? Therefore not exactly appropriate for a WWII doll? (My Molly has had her eye on these).

No, not for dear, sweet Molly. The pink strip kind of ruins any patriotic effect the stars would bring out. And the satiny makes them a bit on the cold side. Not for Northern winters.

We have this. Like it, except the slippers don't stay on at ALL. They are totally useless. Our doll must have big feet.
