This is Beatrix. I plan on giving her a haircut soon, but this is her straight from AG: I admit she looks quite a bit like #28 to me, but she's killer adorable, much cuter in person.

I very rarely get that "gotta have her" feeling with AGs so when I saw the first couple pics of this girl from the DC store opening I knew I was doomed and would end up with her sooner or later. As you can see it was sooner, rather than later. She has the Josefina mold in light skin with brown eyes, shoulder length medium blond hair and a side part with the same flip that #28 and #37 have. There aren't any pronounced streaks of other shades and I will try to get a picture of her this weekend compared with the blond of our Julie. The wig is thin and wouldn't do much for styling other than the short pigtails she came in unless you are really good at hair. For me it's more about the entire combination of length, hair color, eye color, face mold, eyebrows that drew me in rather than any one specific thing about her.
I am a little peeved because she arrived with alot of shorter broken hairs in front so I will have to spend time getting rid of those and waiting for the rubber band indentations to work their way out of her hair now that I have let it down. I would have rather seen her ship with a hairnet like my #37.
Overall I am very glad I purchased her because she is just as cute in person as she was in all the photos.

here's my Hailey! she's a really sweet doll. I don't have Julie but personally I think she and her sister, Rory (#28) look so cute together! they have the Josefina face mold, and the same length hair, which they both wear in pigtails.

We purchased #53 for my daughter's birthday on October 8, 2011 and we are quite pleased! We chose her because she is the one that looks most like my daughter (except the brown eyes, my DD's are hazel). She really is a lovely doll! Her factory pigtails didn't stay in very long at our house so the hair straightened out in no time. I will agree with the previous poster, her wig does seem very thin. Also not all of the hairs are the same length, some stick out 1/2" or more below the cut. (not that this bothers DD at all! lol) Ours does not have nearly as much facial coloring as I see in some of the photos here. I should mention, we do not have a store near us so ours was ordered online. I will try to post some pictures soon, I'm still figuring out how this forum works. Heather

Not much to add to the above reviews. Her hair is a bit thin, but otherwise a very lovely doll. She gets a solid A from me. Here are a couple of pictures The short hairs in the back Here are couple comparison shots of #53 and Nellie who I borrowed stole without asking from my sister.

I can honestly say that #53 is one of the most beautiful dolls I have ever seen. For months, I longed to have my very own #53 and I finally got to hand pick my Stella at AGP Chicago on Friday. She is perfect! I love the color of her hair, and it goes well with her gorgeous brown eyes. She gets an A+++ from me! DSC04673 by sharayahlynn, on Flickr

I have a lot of points that I agree with that monimarine already stated.
I wanted the doll, because she immediately stood out to me out of all the dolls available in the MyAG line. After trying a couple of dolls to be my one character Alex and failing, I realized that #53 was the best bet, but she would need an eye swap to be Alex.
She arrived yesterday. Pluses are that I like the whole package - her hair is in between the shades of McKenna and Caroline, so not an annoying white blonde. She looks cute with the Josefina mold, as she reminds me of a light haired Chrissa. Her wig is very silky and smooth, similar the the hairs used for McKenna's wig.
Negatives: I do wish she did not come with pigtails, as her bottom half of the hair is awkwardly sticking out to the sides. I have the hair down with the hopes those will go away, in addition to the dents in her hair from the rubberbands. Also, my #53's hair is also thin, where if it is not placed evenly on her head, you can definitely see the wig cap. Sadness.
Overall, #53 is a great doll appearance wise when you look at the combination of face mold, wig color and length, and eyes. I have her eye swapped with grey eyes, but she still has a sweetness about her, eye swapped or default. I only wish she had a thicker wig. B+ for the paltry wig.

#53 is a gorgeous doll with the beautiful coloring. I give her an A+! My Brande was picked out by me in November of 2012 at AGPLA and then wrapped up until Christmas.

This is McKinley. I got her at AGP Chicago in 2011. She definitely has a sweet face, although one thing I do not like her is her hair part. It always likes to fall in her face and has to be pulled back, maybe it's just mine though.
