I have the Kit charm and the Samantha/Nellie locket charm for the club bracelet. I can't find them at the moment, or I would add a photo now. I'm sorry. :/
Anyway, I purchased the Kit charm for my Kit collection and the locket was a gift. They're both rather cute, but I wouldn't pay more than $2 on eBay for either one. The Hallmark charms are a MUCH higher quality.
They attach to the bracelet with a question-mark style hook. You know, where the main part is shaped like a question-mark, and there is a straight piece that is somewhat springy to close it off.
They're silver, but not metal. They may be aluminium or something, but I'm fairly certain they're just silver-painted plastic. This is probably cheaper to produce, which means it's better for sending out as a club prize.
They're also very small, only a little larger than my thumbnail. I guess about an inch long, and less than that wide. Fortunately, this makes them the perfect size to use as a charm on a doll's jacket zipper or backpack!
Overall, I give them a B+ because of their original purpose and their cuteness. Ignoring their original purpose and everything, they're a D in my book.
(pictures will come when I can find them)

Oh! I have a bunch of these on my bracelet! I got all of these for free by earning stars.
Club bracelet and charm: I love these! Grade A+ When you spin the little circle on the charm you can see 'AG Club' on it.
Marisol Girl of 2005 Charm: This was the first charm I got because I was simply in love with Marisol. On the charm, you have a rectangular charm with '2005' and a pink gem, and on the back it says 'Marisol'. Then there is a ballet slipper and a music note. The details are beautiful! A+
Jess Girl of 2006 Charm: I got this shortly after because I rcently got Jess at the time, back in 2006. On here, it has three dangle charms as well. A bar that has a pink gem and 2006 on it, with Jess on the back, A little palm tree, and a cirlce with a orage and pink design on it. A+
American Girl Determination Charm: I got this with my stars, because it was the 'determination' charm. I got it because at the time, I was facing many challenges such as my parent's divorce, and our 'almost-move' to a different state and losing all the things we owned. It really cheered me up. Plus it's my favorite color- BLUE! A+
Then I also have the kit charm and the Samantha and Nellie locket, but since they are already reviewed I won't review them.

I just got some of these today that I found at a thrift store along with the Charm Keeper box and two bracelets. The bracelet is silver colored metal and is 7 1/2" long with an extra 2" dangle chain with a tiny pink bead on the end. The bracelet also has a small oval American Girl metal tag near the clasp. The charms are also metal and quite a bit sturdy. The little hooks seem like they might become loose easily. My bracelet consists of the aforementioned Samantha and Nellie charm as well as the original AG Club spinner charm and the Marisol charm. Here are the other ones I have: Birthday Cake: It's 1/2" long and has white and blue enamel paint on the charm. It has a green enamel 'plate' with the words "Happy Birthday" on it. It says American Girl Club on the back Pink Heart: This one is also enamel covered and is only 3/8" in length. It says American Girl Club on the back. Coconut: He's white, glittery enamel painted and 1/2" tall. Nothing on the back. Felicity & Elizabeth locket: These girls' locket is a round circle with "F" engraved on the front and "E" on the back. Inside is a picture of Felicity and 'new illustration' Elizabeth. Purple Gift: This one also has painted enamel and is thicker than the others. It still only measures 3/8" in length. The back says American Girl Club. The Charm storage box is red, shiny, faux leather. It's a 5" square with a zipper that opens up three sides. The zipper pull says American Girl. The case has a strap handle that is 6" long. Inside are two plastic storage box with lids that each contain 16 little compartments for storing your charms as you get them. They stack on top of each other. Cute, but kind of pointless if you keep your charms on your bracelet! Overall I think the idea behind these was good and it's too bad they closed the AG club.

My daughter has an American Girl Club charm bracelet with solid metal charms made of silver-pewter. She earned the American Girl Historian charm in 1997 under "The American Girls Club and Historical Society." A picture will follow this message.
