Fresh & Clean Shower (2011-2014)

I, unfortunately, bought my shower when it wasn't on sale, and with lots of shipping costs. But it's at a much better price now.
This is the only picture I have of mine... It's really cute, but I really wish more accessories had've come with it... like a back-brush or something cute like that.
It has a really sturdy, metal base. The curtains are really cute, and go well around the bathtub, but they came all wrinkly in the box, and I'm scared to iron the material for fear of melting it.

My American Girl® dolls can "freshen up" for the day with this make-believe shower! It features:

Two bubbly shower curtains
A faux bottle of shower gel and a pink sponge to keep her clean
An embroidered towel so she can "dry off" when she's done. $58

The base of the shower is metal and heavy enough that the whole would not fall over easily.

The pole that fits into the base is plastic and the bit (for want of a better word!) with the shower head, curtain rail and shower curtain that fits on top is also plastic. Ditto the curtain rings. It's fairly substantial plastic though. I had no trouble fitting the bits together.

The shower curtain looks and feels like the real thing.

The little caddy to hold shampoo and body wash and hang the 'puff' wash thingy is also plastic but painted to look like chrome.

I like this set and I'm glad I have it. The cost was worth it to me - I doubt I'd be able to find or make anything comparable.

Edited to add: Feeling that the shower head and curtain rail needed to be a bit higher (for dolly comfort as well as 'the look of the thing'), I've placed a small roll of cardboard inside the bit where the pole fits into the base to prevent it going all the way down inside and the whole looks a little less cramped now. I'll add another photo later.

Overall I think I'd rate this a B+ or maybe an A-.
