Great Outdoors Tent
Item# W0914
$75
My American Girl® dolls can have a sleepover under the stars with this set! It features: A berry nylon camp tent roomy enough for two 18" dolls
A zippered front entrance, side windows that roll up, and a screened back for fresh air
A pretend lantern that really lights up for nighttime campouts
A faux travel mug with a removable lid for refreshments on the go
A make-believe snack box to share with a friend
W: 23" x H: 14½" x D: 18"
This tent says it's nylon, but it's thick nylon and very much like a real tent!
The front door has a zipper down the middle and velcro at the bottom. It can stay open with elastic loops. The side window screens roll up and can stay with elastic loops (much like a real tent.) There are no rain flaps over the windows. The back window screen does not open in any way.
The little accessories are cute. The lantern comes with button batteries and really lights up. The thermos opens (the cup comes off only) and the granola is just pretend (DO NOT EAT!)
This comes flat in a box, but the only assembly you need to do is snap the top of each of the four side poles into a cross piece that is sewn to the center of the tent ceiling. The poles are thick and much sturdier than AG tents of the past.
This is very well made and very roomy. Two dolls can lay comfortably inside -- three if they want to get cozy. You could get four dolls sitting in it too, if necessary.
Very nice set. Should have come with a camp fire too. Grade A
side window with screen rolled up
side window with screen velcroed down
back window screen is completely tent sized
accessories for IDing
Everyone loves the new Tent:
ETA: another photo because someone wanted to see how the color compared with the Camp Chair from 2009:
