Meatloaf was released on June 28, 2012 with a revamped? version of Licorice the Cat.

Meatloaf is a tan and white bulldog with a solid body and very soft wrinkly fur. He comes with his blue collar and nametag.

The only other pet I have here to compare him to is Pepper. His fur is very smooth and has raised sections on his back and feet to represent his wrinkles. The layer of 'fur' is very thin- not fluffy like Pepper or deep like Honey. His ears are folded over and sewn down to his head.

I remember several people said he was an expensive paperweight but he's actually not that heavy. I am sure my cat would have to put forth no effort to knock him over with her tail.

His tail is adorably curled. I love the attention to breed detail they put into him.

The pictures show size comparison with Pepper. Overall I think he is going to be very popular and I give him an A-. The reason for the grade is because the old pets used to come with activity books for the same price so I think they would have done better to mark him down to $20, maybe even $18.

I just received Meatloaf today and I love him. I had seen him at AGPNY and immediately fell in love but I was not in the market for antoher pet. Well I never thougth AG could make a dog that I loved just as much as Coconut but they did. He is well made and has a hard body, but his covering is very soft. He feels like my friend's Shar Pei, which he kind of reminds me of in a way. He has the sweetest expression on his face. A+

My daughter got him from her aunt who owns a bulldog who is Meatloaf's real life twin. So far all my daughter's friends favorite AG pet is Meatloaf. Poor thing never gets a moment of peace when the girls are visiting my daughter for a playdate. They make most of the stories revolve around him. He has been everything from pound rescue stories to being in his own pet gymnastics competition at McKenna's gym. The girls do not seem to mind he is a plastic shell covered in fabric as opposed to a real stuffed animal. He is cute, he is in a standing pose that they consider versatile, and he really looks very much like the breed he represents, so that seems sufficient to make him a hit. I don't consider him to scale, myself but my sister in law's dog is a very large version of bulldog so what do I know, really.

Meatloaf just arrived and he is a whole bunch of adorable! I was shocked that he is a hard plastic shell with soft fabric covering, but he is made very well.

I typically don't collect the pets, but I found him irresistible. He looks just like a happy bulldog with wrinkly legs and sagging features.

Very fun is his collar with name tag that has a Velcro closure. It fits perfectly around his pudgy neck... Realistic, too as it is made of the same type of nylon webbing that real dogs' collars are made.
Meatloaf is a must-buy and true charmer.

I bought Meatleaf during the 40% off sale AG was having. Meatloaf is very cute but I expected him to be a little chunkier like a bull dog puppy should be. He has a very hard body and isn't as fluffy as the other pets but other than that Meatloaf is very adorable. I give Meatloaf a B+
