Trellis Swing Item# F7459 $65 "When it’s warm outside, American Girls love to swing in the flower garden. * The trellis swing sways by a metal chain from an arched frame * A cotton-covered seat pad big enough for two dolls * Six pretend clematis vines climb the lattice sides" I do not have the Trellis swing, but examined it at AGBA yesterday for this review. The swing is totally plastic. The construction is sturdy, but looks very much like it's plastic and fragile. The silk flowers are okay, but not very life like looking. There is a nice padded seat cushion and some type of clear plastic rubber band item to help the dolls to actually stay in the swing. Otherwise, they would fall out easily. I don't think it's worth $65. Grade C.

I just received my Trellis Swing yesterday. I am beyond fascinated by it. It sits two dolls very comfortably. They do not fall down or slip down at all. The cushion is attached to the swing in a very good way. The flowers are lovely- delicate enough to not look bold or cheap, but also attached well enough. The color combination is absolutely beautiful. And it is a good size overall.
A+++++ from me!

Oh, what a disappointment! I saw this recently online and thought what a great piece this would be for my 1800s girls. What a shame it is plastic. if it had been wood I was going to buy it.
