We have these glasses. While I love the metallic turquoise color, as you can see from Colette's photo above, the top of the frame itself does tend to sit a little low on the doll's eyes. I have to give them a B for that reason. However, they are quite inexpensive and my daughter loves switching them onto different dolls, so they're worth the price for a cute accessory.
I was curious and put them on a couple of different dolls this morning while cleaning up DD's room. I've concluded that they just slide down on some dolls' noses, LOL. The other AG glasses we have do it, too, but not quite as much.
It could be the face shape. Goo and I were talking about it a long time ago, when I mentioned how the rectangle glasses don't fit Beatrice very well, but he got them on Sebastian without any trouble. Jess's face is just between the classic and josefina shapes, yanno? And that could be why they tend to slip down like that. (Which is what they do on Beatrice.)

These are cute but I bought them and upon putting them on several of my dolls, I realized they are not the glasses for me. The frames are a bit bright, and a bit thick for what I have my dolls to wear (if they are of that colour, I would expect them to have a thinner frame). I don't know, I didn't really like them. Also they seemed more cheap feeling than other AG glasses, but that is just a matter of opinion; these are made of plastic.

Here are Josefina and Elizabeth wearing the blue glasses:
When I had trouble getting these 'specs to sit straight on Josefina's face, I wondered at first if her ears were slightly uneven (sorry, 'Fina!) but I found I had the same problem putting them on Elizabeth as well.
Upon closer inspection, the bit where the arms are hinged to the frames isn't held together with a -metal- screw (as in the lilac glasses) but by a sort of plastic plug just pushed in. And the one on mine was trying to leap out because it was deformed...
They're cute glasses, look 'real' and they look nice on my dolls. But I'd only give them a B- because I don't think mine would have held up to a lot of play... and they are, after all, aimed at children, not careful adults.
I got these glasses in 2007 when I got Margie. Blue wasn't my first choice of colors, but they were the right style to match my glasses, and since Margie is my mini-me, she needed to match. I have heard of some people painting the frames to be different colors, but I don't want to break them accidentally so blue they are. Plus, my glasses are always funky colors-- right now they're green, and the previous pair was red. Anyway. Pictures of Margie in her glasses:
I think I'm just biased, but I think these glasses only look good on blonde dolls. The blue is too pale on darker dolls, IMHO. I do wish they weren't so turquoise... I don't think I've seen any glasses IRL that are so bright!
Got these glasses for carlee (kirsten) and they look great...but i had to testify that these glasses are remarkably strong...
Tonite i had dropped them on the floor and then stepped on them with full weight (by accident of course) and thought they would be broken to pieces, but when i picked them up they were perfect, not even bent. I was so surprised at how strong they were.
Love these, they are just like I had when i was around 10 yrs old, same color, and my favorite color too. mod edit for clarity by KitandKat

These glasses are adorable. They are a light blue, slightly metallic frame. The lens is clear plastic. These frames are the same shape as the rectangle glasses. These glasses sit nicely on the doll's face. I've had them since April 30th, so about a month, and they haven't fallen off yet. I give these an A+!
