Feel-Better Kit For Dolls- $26, GDAH
Here is AG's description:
Little injuries deserve a little tender loving care! Set includes metal crutches, a fleece-lined arm cast and leg cast that fit both left and right limbs, a stretchy wrap bandage, a finger splint, a penguin-shaped ice pack, and two sheets of reusable cast stickers and bandages. Includes sports-injury tips for you!
Here is my review:
I really liked this kit! For those with young children, the set is sturdy and easy and fun to play with! The only little part that might be the problem is the finger splint. It is really cute, but small, and easy to misplace- or for the little ones- swallow. The casts are super cute, though I prefer the leg cast. The arm cast isn't as realistic as I would have liked, and I'm not a fan of that shade of yellow, :, but since I am totally a girly-girl, I love the purple! I've already decorated both casts; the stickers press on without a lot of fussing about and don't fall off, and each cast has a hinge, so it swings open, you put the doll's arm or leg inside, and snap it shut. Really cool! I thought I was going to have to slide it on.
The stretchy bandage only has one velcro side, so it snags when you put it on, because you have to attach it on itself. It is still pretty cute, though...I like wrapping up my doll's ankle. I think it's just the same bandage that was in Marisol's accessories.
The crutches are very sturdy, (made of plastic) and my dolls can balance on them for quite a while...especially my loose-limbed dollies! I really love them!
Finally, the ice pack, while it is kind of thin, it too is adorable! It's sort of like those squishy, plastic keychains, and it shaped like a penguin. Perfect to calm an injured dollie's nerves!
Some may think the set is plasticy, but I like a lot of the new Mattel things (minus that new horse accessories set- bleh!). Like I said, it is very playable.
All in all, I totally recommend this set. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures. I am a real silly when it comes to things like downloading pictures. I hope this review helps!
