Grade: A
The husky dog is a good size for the dolls, as opposed to other dogs that sometimes seem to small in comparison, like Grace for isntance.
His boots are kept on with velcro and his harness is removable.
He looks great harnessed to the sled.
The only thing I wish was different was the he was more possible. His tail is bendable but his legs are not.

I agree. The husky dog is about the same size as Tatlo but much more STUFFED and with no flexibility. I think it would be OK to use Tatlo as a husky substitute if you can't find a husky for a reasonable price. Avi raises huskies as a hobby.

The first husky was bigger and the sled was bigger. He/she ?? had little booties for his feet, the new husky is much smaller, and the sled is smaller. I have the older husky and sled, and they are very very nice, no issues that I am aware of. Here is a pic of him.

The new husky dog is a lot smaller. Here's a photo comparison with Kaya's Tatlo, Pepper, & the original husky dog: Here's the review for the older (1997-2000) dogsled and dog: LinkyAnd Here's Pepper's ReviewThe original husky dog can be found for more reasonable secondary market prices in the summer. And yes, he can be found by himself -- we have three of the original huskies and only one of the sled!

Here are a couple more pictures for you. I agree with AGR that you can easily find a good price in the summer, now is not a good time unless you get incredibly lucky! Also showing a comparison pic of Pepper, the Maplelea husky, and Kaya's dog Tatlo.

I LOVE the original style husky. So much so that I have two of them. I also have the older style wooden sled. These are two of my favorite pieces. I don't care for Pepper or the new sled. You can sit a doll on the sled or load it up with supplies. I would definitely spend the money on the older versions of the sled and husky. I found one of mine on CL and the other on Ebay. Expect to pay $15-$20 for the dog. You can find it cheaper but it does take some patience and time.
