Help your American Girl play three preprogrammed demos on this working keyboard, or use the four music settings—piano, rock, reggae, and rap—to record and play back your own tunes! Keyboard records up to 15 seconds of music. Includes volume control.
Pros: Cute, funtional, easily taken apart. Good for a band and such. The keys really play.
Cons: It only plays 3 songs, and somtimes it messes up the keys and two or three keys will play the same note.

Sorry for repeating something I posted recently. Here is the "orchestra" for the AG Revue. And here's two sparkle keyboards providing music for CATS! I also bought the sparkle guitar but haven't found a use for it yet, since the bagpipe/rock band I had in mind lost its leader. I have one keyboard that works and one that doesn't. If you do a lot of stories about musicians, which I used to do, then the keyboard is great. It's much more portable than the piano and it has a more modern "ambience" to it? I could see using it in a sci fi story as well as modern ones, although Tsuki would prefer a Vulcan harp. The music it makes is a little tinny, but I'm not a fan of any of the varieties offered anyway so I generally leave the batteries out. Be aware, if you're going to give it to a child, that the volume is louder than you may enjoy after the first few minutes! :
