Grade: B + The Good: The quality, as usual for this time period, is really high. The knitting is great, the fabric is great, etc. Plus, this is an outfit I could easily see myself wearing - scratch that, an outfit I HAVE worn - while at a winter time cabin. The Bad: As you can see in the picture, this sweater is HUGE on the doll. It looks like she is wearing a sweater for another doll, not specially made for her. The sleeves are too long and need to be pushed up, and the sweater is about twice as wide as she is. I know these sweaters are supposed to be big, but this is ridiculous. (For reference, I pinched the sweater in the back for the photo) Note: I ordered mine right before it was discontinued, so I never got the red bandana.

My new doll is only 1 or 1/2 in skinnier than my old PM dolls (I know - I measured this shirt is SOOO huge on her, that I think it would be huge even on the old dolls. Like I said, I pinched it in the back. The sweater is too wide in the shoulders and too long and baggy in the arms as well - and there is no difference in arm or shoulder length on the PM dolls so I imagine that would be the same. There might be variation within the sweaters, h owever.

I just received my Apres Ski outfit in the mail today from ebay. My 24 (Lauren) that my daugters gave me for Christmas is wearing it. I think there must be a difference in the sweaters because it fits her fine, a little baggy like you would expect but not overly so.
I think the sweater and the leggings will exchange well with other outfits because of their colors - so basic. The socks are adorable! Overall I would rate this outfit an A+ partially because of it's versitility.

I have the sweater on my pm Samantha and it fits her darling. Not too long in arms or in length and I just love it. If I knew how to send photos I would send one to show. I really think it is one of the neatest outfits.

I only have the socks and leggings, but here's my review:
Leggings: IMHO, an essential mix and match piece. They have a neutral blue that could go with a lot of things--my dolls wear them under tunics or skirts. They are also perfect reproductions of real leggings, and they aren't 90s-dated. A.
Socks: They aren't very well formed (there's no heel) but they are nice and fuzzy. They don't fit in shoes but I think they would make good 'slipper' style socks--something to wear to a sleepover. B+ for not having a proper heel and not fitting in shoes.
Average grade: A for what I have.

I have what I believe to be a transitional Molly with the greyish skin. She is also much chubbier than my other AG's and has a bit of a hunchback. I only mention that because this set is adorable on her and the sweater fits her very well. It's oversized, as it's meant to be, but not nearly as large as on the OP's doll. I pair the sweater with skirts and coordinating beret's (if you have Molly, you tend to have an inordinate number of berets! ) and it looks adorable. I also like the leggings, they're a basic piece but the color is nice and a good alternative to bluejeans. I bought the set used on Ebay and it didn't have the matching socks or hair bandana, but I found a lady on Etsy to replicate the socks. I give this outfit an A, with much of that being for the quality of the sweater. It's a good, basic winter outfit with definite mix and match potential for the sweater.

Here it is on my PM Samantha. The sweater I was expecting to be big, but the leggings are so big that they're more like pants...
