A-
For those of us who know NOTHING about ballet, this outfit is accurate enough. The barrettes are awesome (seems like AG is actually giving us things that work in a doll's hair and they are getting prettier). Because of all the tulle, I would not recommend this outfit for a little girl to play with. There are several layers, but it makes the outfit seem more delicate. The slippers are adorable. This outfit seems like the gala outfit in a different color.

I bought it.
It is dress style. Which makes it very easy to put on. Plus it has a petticoat layer that is opaque. So it can double as a formal dress.
Color is absolutely beautiful. Shoes are similar to those in Nicki's Gala outfit- and they do fit over stockings. Hair clips are rather easy to use and do hold up Inga's braids.
Program is a very unique idea. It actually has a lot of information inside.
Overall an A. I do agree it is not for little girls- but for tweens and up then it's fine.

I have this outfit, and i think it is really pretty, however, a ballerina would never wear something this long!!! The shoes are kinda hard to put on since they are already looped and ready to slip on and it took me about 15 minutes to try and get them right. It is alot like the gala outfit, but i really do love it! A+

This is a beautiful outfit. The color is really pretty and I love the embroidered details on the dress. The ballet slippers took a few minutes to figure out and I am still not sure if I have them on right. There is no way my dd would be able to do the shoes herself. The back of the dress has a tulle bow at the top.
The clips are actually alligator clips as opposed to hair combs. They hold very well.

I have this outfit, and i think it is really pretty, however, a ballerina would never wear something this long!!! Untrue! I went to a performance of Giselle by a traveling company several years ago and the skirts for the "peasant" costumes were all tea length, just like the skirt for this costume. Actually, the entire outfit reminds me of those costumes, though it's perhaps not as "rustic" and a bit more fantasy.

I got this as a PWP for $16 at AGP-C when they were about to retire it in October 2008. I really like it for some reason, especially when it's something I'd never even think about buying. Maybe it's the price It's a bit fragile of an outfit, with layers of tulle, and the unfinished ends make it seem susceptible to fraying. The color is great. The bad thing is that it doesn't fit PC dolls that perfect, it seems awkward with the way it bunches. Other than that, I love the shoes, when they finally get on the doll's foot. The clips that come with it are great, and work perfect with a ballet bun. And the little program, eh, it's flimsy paper. *mod edit to remove dead image links*
