This is the white v-neck long-sleeved t-shirt with pink detailing and the "American Girl" logo across the neck in pink. I think it's pretty awesome and I prefer it to the blue sweatshirt, even though it's pink and my Beatrice doesn't care for pink much. It just doesn't seem overly girly, despite the color, really. I like that it's a v-neck with long sleeves, and I love the stripes on the arms, and the pink around the neck. That the pink is a deep berry pink is also very cool! It's nicely stretchy in the sleeves (I was afraid the stripes would make it tight and difficult to put on the doll), and the fabric feels real nice. It does velcro up the back, by the way, with the no-snag type. For $8, it's a nice addition to your doll's wardrobe. It's a good piece for mixing-and-matching, as it goes well with trousers of all colors and should look nice under overalls or with khaki skirts. That and I feel it isn't overly girlish. A- grade, because it's a solid shirt with lots to recommend it, but it isn't overly outstanding. --- KERI ETA: The shirt is kind of tight around the waist, so it might not fit well on top of jeans and such, but it's still pretty nice. Also, the logo is actually stitched in instead of printed. Photos! I happen to love how it looks with Kit's overalls.

We have this too and I think it is super cute. My daughter has the matching girl shirt. Both the doll and the girl shirt are very well made. Nice, substantial feeling fabric. Gets an A+ from myself and my daughter.

I like this shirt for the most part. It's very versatile. However, the sleeves are tight on my Gretchen (JLY 28). Doesn't seem to be quite as tight on Beatrice. Waist-wise, it was fine on top of the denim skirt and camisole. Maybe I got an odd one, or Gretchen has proportions similar to mine LOL.

My friend who has #3 has this and her doll wears it all the time. It is a really cute shirt. And a doll can wear it with almost anything. It is a little tight around the waist, but I think that's the only down side. The fabric feels neat, and for $8 it's nice top. A.

I love this shirt! The fabric is nice and sturdy. The long sleeves are much appreciated, since most of the other shirts sold alone are short- sleeved. It goes well with just about any bottoms. A!

This one gets a lot of wear at our house, so it was a great value for the money as a mix-and match piece. The knit is definitely thick and sturdy, although I wish it was cut a bit more generously so there wasn't that gap at the back. That's my only quibble, and it gets an A- overall. AG needs to make more affordable separates like this. Traveling Laurel looking sporty:
