I bought this set last week and I love it! It's a bit pricier than other sets ($48 as of now) but you really do get a lot for your money and I feel it's worthwhile.
The leotard and skirt are a beautiful shade of light blue and the fabric is a soft velour. The gemstones around the edges are well intact. The leotard is nice and easy to put on due to the way it's built in the back (see pics) and there's a small Velcro closure. The skirt pulls on, fits the doll just right. It might be a TINY bit on the short side, but skating skirts are meant to be like this, so it's alright. I'd just made sure she's always got something on underneath ; ).
The leggings are stretchy, easy to put on, and fit the doll well. I think they have a little bit of a sparkle in them. They're very versatile and could be worn as leggings with tons of other outfits.
The little sweater top is just like the one in McKenna's practice wardrobe, the ballet 2-in-1 from a few years ago, and possibly other sets. It has a velcro closure on the inside and then it ties across on the outside. It's a teeny bit snug.
The skates are my favorite! They slip onto the doll's feet very easily and there is no lacing or tying involved. The laces are all looped into each other and stay like that. The skate guards fit nicely onto the blades, though if you're going to play around with your doll a lot they might fall off, so be careful there.
I'm very happy with this purchase! A+
