I adore this outfit! If I could find it in my size, I'd wear it everyday! This outfit consists of a grey & white printed tank shirt, black stretch tights, a geometic print shrug, and faux leather sandals. I found all of the pieces of this outfit (minus the shrug) to fit extremely tight, and all pieces were a bit of a struggle to get on the doll. I could see a child having some difficulty. However once accomplished, the result is a lovely outfit. The white tank has a very pretty grey, almost French-looking, floral/topiary type design screenprinted on it; with the American Girl logo stitched onto the bottom-left side. The shirt does not come apart all the way down the back, so the shirt has to be put on over the head or feet which adds to the difficulty in dressing. The shirt velcros with the old-style heavy velcro which can tend to snag clothing or hair. The black tights are a thick stretchy fabric; almost patterned like black denim. They remind me somewhat of the tights to the old Aspri ski outfit. The tights are VERY tight, and I had difficulty getting them over the feet and pulled up the legs evenly. The shrug top is a pretty southwestern black, yellow, pink, and red geometic pattern. The fabric is a very thin knit; not what you think of for sweater material; however I like it this way. The fabric is very soft and easy to pull over the arms. The only negative is the finishing of the fabric is poor. My shrug has at least two spots where the threads are coming out in the middle or ends of the fabric in unsightly places; not finished properly. Im afraid to cut them in case the shrug would unravel. I can see this fabric getting pulled very easily. The sandals are a cute but sort of generic brown faux leather. I don't believe I have seen sandals that velcro in the back, but these have a small strip of velcro to hold them closed. The sandals were difficult to fit on Saige's feet. The vinyl needed a bit of stretching. Overall though, I adore this outfit. I will be exchanging mine for one with better finishing; but it is probably one of my favorite AG outfits despite some of the issues. Rating: A-

I have a question about the tights. I'm not sure if this is the right place. You said they are thick. Are they pretty durable, and would you say they snag on velcro easily?

This outfit isn't worth $34 (not even an accessory, what??), but I didn't care and bought it anyway. It's cute, it's nice nice fabric, and it fits well. The leggings are high rise and don't fall down when the doll sits. The sweater is much softer than I thought it would be. Photos: imgur.com/a/Paa2b#0

I love the black "denim" leggings and appreciate that they are not capri length, which AG tends to overdo. The sandals are a bit snug and I had some trouble closing the back. The sweater is unique and looks like something one may find at Urban Outfitters. Unfortunately, it is prone to pilling at the edges. I've had this outfit for 2 whole days on a display doll yet the sweater appears older than that.
Honestly, the sweater is what initially attracted me to this outfit but I think the set looks a whole lot better when worn without it.

She was right in within reach of me I'm keeping her in it for a while..I really like her own necklace with the outfit...also it was great to take Saige's art set out of the box.

Love love love this outfit! Everything about it is spectacular! There really isn't much to complain about here. I tried it on Saige, but she made a face and took it back off immediately. Apparently it isn't quite her style. : However, my Vanessa (a custom Kanani) snuck off with it and has adopted it as her own. I have to admit: it does look much better with Vanessa's medium complexion that it did with Saige's light skin. Grade: A+

I got Saige's sweater outfit for Autumn. I think that it looks great on medium skinned dolls This outfit is AWESOME! I love the jeggings (my daughter is wearing a pair just like them right now). The shirt is a great length for wearing leggings, a little longer than a regular tee shirt. The sweater is amazing. It is so soft and the colors are so not AG. The sandals are cute and are not like anything that AG has done that I have. I give this outfit a solid A+. edited to add: One of my sandals is so loose I don't have to undo the velcro to slip on her feet and as a matter of fact, the one sandal has fallen off twice. The other sandal fits perfectly so maybe they are making the sandals slightly larger than they were or my girl's feet are small.

I love this outfit so much. I put it on Felicity when I first got it and she's still wearing it. It looks great on her. The sweater looks like something from Forever 21 or Urban Outfitters. I love the Westerny Aztec print. It's very flowy and soft. The top has a print on it there is not very visible. It's a nice contrast to the sweater. It's long and covers most of the doll's bum. The leggings look like dark was jeggings. They are skin tight and long enough to cover the doll's ankles. The gladiator type sandals put the whole outfit together. I don't think it would look right with sneakers or boots. This is the only outfit from Saige's collection that I have purchased. Her other outfits are not nearly as cute as this one. Jumping on the bandwagon and giving this outfit an A+

One of the best outfits AG has put together for a GOTY. The sweater is just perfect for an artsy, southwestern girl, and it looks very much like similar wear I've seen in boutiques this year. It feels so soft. Not my style to wear, but I'd love something that feels that way and is my style and size. I'm not surprised that AG has just come out with a girl version of it. Want to add that with my Casey wearing this outfit now, one thing that I think it could use is one snap so that it can look a little better when worn closed, as it flops loosely, when one tries to have a doll wear it that way. Ample fabric to close it, it just won't stay in place.
The leggings are well made and of a substantial material. Wish they weren't so skin tight, but they do work with the outfit. I'm glad that they are ankle length too. And I am thrilled that sandals were included, and I do love the style of them. I think flats could have just as easily been used, and that they were not make the outfit worth the premium price ($34) charged.
I wasn't as crazy about the shirt. But I'm glad one was included. A little old ladyish, IMO but maybe that is what the kids are wearing. I wouldn't know. But that is a piece that I would have in my wardrobe and not what I see my niece wearing. Makes for a nice mix and match with the Coconut Fun outfit and adds a bit of pizazz to any other leggings or pants that are matched with it, and one can get white shells and tees anywhere, so it's just fine. Just a bit puzzling to me and not what I would have chosen for the outfit.
An A for this outfit.

I am pretty sure one of my favourite outfits of all time. I love the style. The colors are great. There's mix and matching possibilities. Great quality. And the sweater is SUPER soft. Love it. Fits PM dolls excellently.

I just love this outfit and Abby loves it too! The sweater is so cute. I love the bright colors, the red, yellow, pink and black go really well together. I like the pattern on the tank top too. The pants are pretty nice, and I've always liked sandals, so I naturally like these.

I love this outfit for Saige! That sweater is the best part! I use all the pieces in different ways with her other pieces. I highly recommend this outfit if you can get it. It's great for Saige or any doll collection! Grade: A+
