Here are both Spring dresses on #13 (I'll save you from having to hunt around for the one post). As you can see the ribbon is on the inside ankle on the left shoe ... AG has already sent me a replacement (Great customer service). I really think the bow on this dress would have been a nice size for the BB hat, but as I've noticed lately there are people who love to put those big flowers on their little baby's head. I'm with Jami'sdolls, I think leggings would be adorable on a MAG along with the BB dress.

Sweet Spring Dress for Dolls + Charm Item# F3621 Price: $30
My American GirlĀ® dolls make every occasion sweeter in this charming outfit.
It features:
- A cream-and-gold knit dress with crochet lace pattern on the skirt and pretty flutter sleeves.
- A pink ribbon is woven into the drop waist, and a pink fabric rosette accents the neckline.
- Pink espadrille shoes have satin elastic crisscross straps
- A translucent pink oval barrette for her hair
- Includes a "Smart" round charm for the doll's charm-keeper necklace.
I was immediately attracted to this dress due to the lack of dresses for my modern girls, and the nice neutral colors. DressThe dress is made from a knit material, slightly off-white with metallic threads. There is a satiny slip under the dress, though not very opaque. As a result, if the doll is wearing any colored underwear, it will definitely show through. The knit material has a bit of stretch, which is nice. The metallic thread is not overdone, and adds a bit of zip. The dress also has a pink flower attached to the left shoulder, which adds a bit of spring/romance to the dress. Grade: A- ShoesThe shoes are a light pink matching the color of the flower on the dress. The shoes have a bit of platform to them, featuring the canvas-like material as the sole. They also have crisscrosed pink elastic with a bow on the outer side of the ankle. The shoes may be a bit confusing for younger girls, and I found it worked best to put on the elastic first over the foot, then slip the shoe on. I like the overall look of the shoe, but they seem a bit tight to me, as my doll's toes are clearly showing underneath, much like someone whose shoes are getting a bit too small for their growing feet. Grade: B+ BarretteThe barrette is a translucent pink meant to match the pink accents of the rest of the outfit. Cute, but just a standard hair accessory. Grade: A- Overall, I like this outfit a lot. I usually do not spring for MyAG oufits for my modern girls and rely on seamstresses, but this one stood out to me as a must have. I think it would have been better priced at $28, but it is still cute. If anyone wants pictures, please PM me.

I think it's interesting that while AG often shows this on a blonde doll, we've all put this on our brunette dolls. I love it on MG and Molly. The dress is very sweet, and the lining is excellent! It makes the dress lie so nicely. While I'm not a huge fan of the sparkle and the flower, my target-aged daughter loves them. And, in all honesty, they don't bother me nearly as much as I thought they would. I haven't snipped the flower off yet, and that's saying a lot. I wish the dress were a bit longer. And, I think the shoes are the wrong season for this dress. If it's cool enough to wear this sweater dress, then it's cool enough for thin tights and corresponding footwear. We had a same-shoe problem, too! I'll be calling customer service to see if they'll send us a new pair. (And, um...based on the other photos we also had a user malfunction in how the straps ought to be.)

My best friend saw this on sale and picked it up for me for Christmas. I almost bought it in February when I ordered my #58 - I'm glad I waited! This is a lovely late winter-early spring outfit. The dress is a soft beige knit. I thought there would be some scratchiness in it, due to the glitter thread, but there isn't at all. Not only does the sparkly thread not bother me, it gives some flair to this otherwise fairly simple dress. The silky flower is cute, too, and not too obtrusive. I'm less fond of the shoes. They're sturdy and soft, but it took me a few minutes how to get the straps on the foot. The plastic hair clip is small and cheap and seems kind of flimsy to me. I wouldn't be surprised if it was lost or broken quickly.
Highly recommended for people looking for an elegant, fairly simple spring or Easter outfit for their modern dolls.
